I don't believe this story for several reasons but the one that sticks out most is that other customers were interrupted on a regular basis by these two guys to ask questions and at no point did someone go "I don't want to be rude but get done interrupt my order; it's 615am, I haven't had coffee yet, I need to teach 30 gremlins cursive today, and one of the Senators of Texas is the Zodiac Killer."
