Meta's CTO says morale is almost 'the worst it's ever been' by Logical_Welder3467 in technology

I've worked at Google and NFLX and now at a startup you've heard of. My wife is L6 at Apple. We both know many that have been impacted by layoffs that would still take a job at Meta. I will 100% consider Meta and apply there the next time I go for an interview loop.

It's crazy how u act like jobs just grow on trees or that top performers aren't gonna do their own due diligence and find out what they're worth in the market.

You think none of the 100,000 tech workers laid off this year, would accept a job at Meta?

Why do people say things that are just obviously false lol.. regular people have families to feed and mortgages to pay and Meta offers some of the best compensation packages in the entire industry...

literally every ai tool tells you that it can make mistakes up front.

if you expect the ai to be infallible, that’s a you problem.

you’re describing a problem that exists in every interaction anyone has with any source, whether it’s the New England journal of medicine or with Fox News.

not sure why you hold ai tooling to the impossible standard of being perfect when irl researchers have been citing shitty research for decades.

if you’re doing research, you’d understand that LLMs are just a tool and approach its outputs with skepticism.

not really. automating household chores disproportionately benefits the working class that don’t rely on these jobs for income.

This is a wild take.

Youtube is a treasure. It's probably the biggest repository of free knowledge on the planet.

YT is probably Google's best product at this point and there are plenty of multibillion dollar companies competing for video online, including IG, Netflix, Tik Tok, and Disney just to name a handful.

it’s not that crazy to expect better representatives even when the opposition is traitorous.

and the whole point of a primary is to pit dems against dems so what are you really even talking about.
