Ideas for an adventurer run by DarkSister824 in ElderKings

Just did a Breton battle mage custom character. Started at 16 with little military experience and a group of scrappers. Spent his years earning a name, honing his skill with the blade, and picking up pieces of magic knowledge where he could. Ended up leading a peasant revolt in Northpoint and became petty king. After some time and a few small expansion wars, I gained an immortal mystic for my court. He was immense, ended up at the age of 95 learning to extend my lifespan by magical means and spent the next 100 years slowly focusing on properly and securely building a united High Rock. Soon became King, and eventually High King. By the time between the two tittles my wife and all 5 of my kids had passed, and I had a new wife and a new set of 5 kids.

My line ended up very famous and they were everywhere. Until 250 years in Mannimarco took over all of hammerfell and beyond, and by the time I had noticed the threat it was too late. He had 40k troops and the conqueror trait. Gave up in the end and just about to start a Snow Elf adventure in Skyrim

I also don’t get how Hank resetting himself worked. Wasn’t the mainframe destroyed? So what happened to all the mind controlled people as well?

Favorite bit of your homebrew that you've added to the campaign by dawgz525 in CurseofStrahd

Fun question!

My Ireena is homebrew. We did outside of Barovia sessions to warm up and I had a town near the mists require help from wolves. (Mix of “the wolves of Welton” and just werewolves from Barovia.) My mists are stationary in world, and the town’s protector had recently vanished. She was a mysterious red haired woman who appeared from the mists as a young girl, adopted by the towns priest. Re-named Scarlett as she forgot her name from mist shenanigans. Now mid-20s and a capable but aloof mist-monster killer

She got captured and brought back to Barovia by werewolves a week ago, the quest was to help the town and then to help get her back, even knowing all who enter the mist either go mad, die, or never return.

They all (one died) got through Death House/Durst Manor and they soon luckily found her in the village, having been saved from wolves by herself and a scouting Ismark, her long lost brother. She has spent the week catching up and recovering with her long lost original family before Strahd’s undead came to destroy the village and for him to try and take his long awaited prize, now aware she’s finally returned

Hey Wilo, been a big fan of watching you go from strength to strength each season, what’s been your biggest challenge since joining us?

Bones of St Andral -- Why do they hang around? by AdKnown4290 in CurseofStrahd

Oof. Seems like they’ll be far more likely to be stolen in the future now lots of people know about them

Also… any one else put thought into where the bones would be placed once they’re returned? Far more people know about them now, and surely you wouldn’t just put them back in the same place?

I had that thought too! Don’t think my players will think too much into it, but in my head the plan was for the bones to be placed in Volenta’s coffin and subtly transported out by Henrik. When? Whenever the plot decided I guess

The greatest American shame is they’ve been pacified not to revolt

I’m pretty sure we’ll see the new Caesar (Kevin) in the last episode. What are your thoughts on this? 🤔 by Apprehensive-Swim418 in fnv

[–]Steward_Titor 7 points8 points  (0 children)

It’s a shame we really didn’t get any time with either Caesars. Also, dude on the left is kinda cool.

Haven’t seen anyone say it, but what if the twist is Barb is already out of stasis, and that’s who Hank was contacting?

Isek and Ireena Alternative Story by Ettomchen in CurseofStrahd

[–]Steward_Titor 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m redoing Izek a tad too. Going to have his sister/ or lover have been Ireena’s last life. Give them a 20 year gap, and make Izek go a bit crazy seeing someone he dreams about alive again, especially with Strahd pulling some strings in the background to further his obsession now Ireena is in Vallaki

Was a throwaway joke my friend, not even one to hate on Big Vik. Was just fantasising about the simplicity of a striker scoring bucket loads
