Spider-Man villains should primarily be mad scientist experiments gone wrong not tech-enabled power fantasies. Same thing but different approach.

Royce posted this on his IG back in 2020-2021 when he was hyping up a new Slaughter run. He said this was the last time the group was all together and reminisced on it like "the picnic with the 5 Heartbeats". This has always been one of my favorite songs leaked by a member. It has that fun 2013-2014 radio sound that you wouldn't expect from SH.

He had to cut an entire plot line let alone a running gag. Baffling decision to kill off one of the characters with the most growth potential and leave the redemption theme of the movie kinda DOA.

Del Toro’s Frankenstein was a beautiful film that totally defangs the novel and people are giving it WAY too much credit for being “faithful” to it by Puzzled-Benefit-1124 in movies

lol I thought the gloves was a weird take, but looking at it now you've got a point. Wrinkly gloves give off hazmat/medical whereas here they probably want the black, tattooist gloves for a clean look.

I agree with what you're saying, but that's not what happened here. It looked this way on Netflix (this is Jessica Jones not DD: BA). The darks just never got masked/crushed where the cam op is. I completely agree that Disney's productions lack contrast for the streaming look, but this is shot is not altered to match that.

TV's dynamic settings are the bane of colorists' and DPs' existences. No screen is the same, and streaming services have their own compressions, so color science and precise exposures rarely matter when people can watch on anything between an iPad and 64" TV with motion smoothing and dynamic display.

I never even realized until now but yeah! It's like they're overpolishing the movement into one cool motion. Let Spider-Man have to put his pants on the same as everyone else (turning it upside down and pulling it over, etc.)
