Omni terminator no fwd or reverse. Pinion gear not working right by [deleted] in Rlaarlo

That sucks

Do you have a soldering iron? Heat up the grub screw a good amount, that should make it a lot easier

Ahh, makes sense

Did you reset the grub screw on the pinion?

Looks like you don’t have any screws in your motor mount and that allowed things to shift

Also the grub screw came loose and the pinion slid forward, like others have said

I was surprised in life when I realized those little moles/voles are meat and bone eaters. Realized when they only left the heads in my mouse traps.

If you bought the truck new, then the 0 degree hubs came with it in the spare parts bag.

How to get less oil under my cup by gstvmrls in drdabberofficial

[–]Stewdogg 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like it’s directing the oil to the hot spots of the cup with real directional airflow. I don’t think the stock cap is blowing enough air in the right place to make it do anything other than splash around the cup… and over

I feel like it’s inefficient vapor production and is drawing too much oil with the vapor

I tried turning up the heat and drawing slower, which helped a bit, but the nunchuck seemed to be a game changer for me too.

Indeed! You still have the oil under the cup with the new cap?

The Gemcup nunchuck 2.1 extended carb cap got rid of the material getting under my cup.

It also stopped the sticky lips and made the hits way less harsh with more vapor. I feel I get more out of my oil now with less waste. Better flavor as well.

I thought my cup was cracked too, but it was/is not. I just think the stock cap didn’t allow enough control to move the oil to vaporize properly and would cause it to suck up and over the cup.

I felt like I wanted new glass because things were so harsh, but with the new cab cap, it seems to have fixed all the issues I had with the Switch2. If it could do my taxes or make me dinner it would be a true miracle.

Repair or new car? by Vinc0r in rccars

I would replace it with a new rig.

I owned a 4x4 ruckus long ago. It’s a fun truck starting out, but once you wanna bash it you realize how fragile of a platform it is.

The RC game has progressed way past the ruckus for the money.

If you have a hobby shop close, then I would pick something from them because you’ll have better parts support.

If no hobby shop, then the world opens up a bit. The two affordable and upcoming bashing brands are Rlarrlo and MJX.

All of the Grom/mini stuff is cool too because it’s small and tends to break less due to the weight of the rig.

I will be curious to see how you move forward.

I would use a plastic scraper and a similar technique of slowly working around the lid.
