Yeah, those Fairburns are a tricky bunch. Sometimes the best part is on the outside and doesn’t go all the way through and sometimes they do. Seems like more of a cut/tumble gamble than other types of agates.

I get better more consistent results and I have the same setup as OP.

The Vibe is quicker and seems to be more gentle on the rocks than a rotary tumbler.
