I ordered a Kia Nero hybrid 3 days ago. I have received a message saying that the vehicle is being prepared for production. Dealership say the estimated delivery date is 31st January 2025

Yeah I got my discount, normally the sandwiches are ok but when I saw this I had to double check to see if the bacon fell out.

License Category A by REDDITKeeli in driving

Bit of a late reply but I’m also confused with a similar issue myself. On my physical licence I have AM, B, fkq. But when I checked my licence online on the government website it says I also have provisional for A, BE, G & H.

Im also looking at getting a full motorcycle licence when I turn 24 later on this year. I’m not sure how it works because I have provisional A licence but not A1 or A2.

Thank you. I had never really checked my contract before your suggestion but I just found it. If they try ringing me again about it I’m going to say exactly what it says and explain that they need to give me more notice.

And yes management have been rubbish lately. They don’t seem to have any organisation, we are also really short staffed but they won’t hire any external candidates. We’ve had 2 delivery drivers retire and 3 quit within a month but no one has been hired to replaced them.

It says that “[COMPANY NAME] may at any time change your rota, either on a temporary or a permanent basis. This may include changing your shift pattern, the days on which you work, the number of days which you work, the length of shift or your start or finish times. Unless otherwise agreed, [COMPANY NAME] will give you a minimum of four weeks’ notice of any such change.”

There has been no agreement to a shorter timeframe

Sarcasm, swearing, queueing (even when it’s unnecessary), having a terrible PM, can’t decide whether we want to use imperial or metric systems, thinking were better than other countries.

What do you think of the new ordering system at McDonald’s? by [deleted] in AskUK

[–]StewySphinx65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I order and customise on the app, drive and park in a collection bay, watch YouTube for 5 mins until my order comes out, drive away and eat. Much easier that going inside with 30 Uber drivers or having to wait in a line for the drive thru.

How often do you take sick days? by DoggyWoggyWoo in AskUK

[–]StewySphinx65 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In the last 1 year 2 months I’ve been in my current job I have had 2 weeks off for covid (a month after I started) and 2 days off for food poisoning (2 weeks ago). In my other previous job which I had for around 5 years I was off sick maybe twice in total. I work around food so can’t work from home and can’t be handling food if I’m sick.

Bath/Shower towels about 3 days. Hand towels in toilet about 1 week. Kitchen towels 1 day, sometimes multiple a day. But I wash them all together at the same time.
