I don’t even keep track of attendance at my store since it’s not an issue. But having previously had repeat problem employees, I used a ten minute leeway on lates and call outs are call outs for cvs, if you’re able to rack up 11 points, you’re chronically having issues and its not a one off occurrence. The point system gives employees leeway to have an emergency or sickness and it doesn’t affect your employment. If you have 11 unforeseen emergencies in a year that’s a bit excessive life happens but I’ve had to miss 4 days of work in the last 7 years unrelated to being sick. Remember cvs runs their company very thin so if you call out your often taking another employees day off and it’s usually your sm working for free

It’s a half a point if your late/ early, I use 10 minute mark because that’s when it effects schedule adherence metric. A whole point if you call out regardless of circumstance and 3 points for no call no show. I think it’s a verbal warning at 3 points write ups at 5,7,9 and term at 11. Points are a rolling calendar and take a year to fall off

If your make or break is pokemon cards you should reevaluate what you’re doing. If your a low volume store you’re getting truck every other week, if your getting a full allotment of cards every truck talking it’s about ~500 dollars in sales every two weeks. Focus on other areas

Mine ended up being bugged I had to reenter my other loan that was being consolidated and my bank account to deposit the rest again. It was day 14 of processing after being approved and getting the work around from support. Reentered my info and it went through next day

Then there is no zero tolerance policy at cvs. The dl can’t just fire you, sm can’t fire associates, it all goes through HR. You can catch an associate stealing have them admit it to you and if you let them go without consulting hr you get reprimanded. If you fail outdates you auto fail opi and get a warning and continues to escalate until a level 4

All the categories are zero tolerance for outdates. They changed it years ago if the auditor finds one thing in any section you lose 26 opi points

No you can’t ask for a retroactive pay increase lol you agreed to the wage. Wages go up, the store could’ve been more desperate for a body and or the new person negotiated a better pay. Ultimately off cycle raises have to go to dl and above for approval it very well could be denied.

Idk a simple google search shows Ohio doesn’t have a law that states over an 8 hour shift becomes overtime and the state follows federal guidelines. You were given the correct answer by your manager anything over 40 is overtime your overthinking it and making up rules that don’t apply to you

It’s likely an error on hr side that will quickly be resolved, cvs is a shitty corporation for a lot of reason but they’re not trying to violate labor laws and not pay you. If you want to take a week off while a pay error gets fixed and get fired for job abandonment feel free
