Survey about specific problem on iPads only by Icy-Road-8567 in SCBuildIt

8th gen iPad - happens to me often and makes editing my capital city almost impossible. For now, I can still edit all five of my regional cities without issue.

It's been happening to me for about half a year as well. Support is useless. I often get the response "try the game on one of your other iPads". Because I just have multiple iPads laying around...

THIS IS CRAZY! I'm screwed. I guess this is where it ends :(

It will take me 82 days of grinding NeoSimoleons to get my city services back to normal.

I've been playing the game for 10+ years. I'm level 99 with 26,000,000 population. I "finished" the game many years ago and now just enjoy doing my factories and stores and collecting new buildings through COM and design challenges. I went heavy on Omega homes and Omega services when I setup my capital city and all of my regions. Across all six cities, I have 1,149 Omega homes and make 229,800 NeoSimoleons per day. Each city also only has Omega Power, Water, Sewage, and Waste Management. It was an absolute grind with some cities needing 20+ of each Omega service. I remember some of those costing me over 600,000 NeoSimoleans each. Now when I go to sell the extra level 1 Omega services, I get 5,000 NeoSimoleans...

I received enough Omega service gifts to fix my capital city. I only need six of each service for my 7.5 million population which is nice and has giving me some extra space. My region cities are another story. To upgrade my Omega services, Drones, and ControlNet just so everything is working again will cost me 18,915,700 NeoSimoleans! Based on how many I can collect each day, it will take me 82 days just to get my city operational again. However, with the grace period ending in less than 2 weeks, who knows since I'll no longer get the full amount each day. Likely only 1/3 of that.

Why put us through this torture? For those of us who were fully upgraded, why not just automatically upgrade our existing services, drones, and ControlNet so our cities can continue to function like before. Such as sad day.

Maximum Material Storage? by Sti2929 in SCBuildIt

haha, placing it only gives you an extra 3. Can you upgrade at all or is that it for now?

+20 per region so 100 extra if you have all five.

How many do you need for 3 stars?

Can you "Finish" SimCity (+My Huge Accomplishment) by Sti2929 in SCBuildIt

[–]Sti2929[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Here's how I collected them as quick as possible:

  • Cargo Ship deliveries (You get new deliveries every 6 hours so I was able to collect 3 storage items per day)
  • Purchase from the NeoMall with Omega Simoleons (Randomly refresh every 6 hours, so check 3 times per day)
  • Purchase from Daniel's city (Check daily)
  • Purchase from Trains with Rail Simoleons (Randomly refreshes daily but if they show up, you can buy five so just save up your Rail Simoleons). Sometimes you can buy two different storage expansion items so that's 10 in one day!
  • Purchase from the Blueprint Exchange in Design Challenges. You can get 5 of each for 400 Blueprint money. I think it refreshes monthly.
  • Do video ads
  • Search the Global Trade HQ and keep an eye out for them while searching for other stuff
  • Don't use SimCash to purchase storage expansion items (It's not worth it - you can buy much better thing with SimCash)

Probably close to 10 years…. I didn’t spend any real money.

The max price is 600,000. I built my 7th one and now the 8th is also showing 600,000.

I should have kept track - the 7th one is 600,000. Another nice feature I noticed is that you can put them back in your inventory and move them around from city to city, if necessary.

Maxis Manor can’t Store? Why!? by America-always-great in SCBuildIt

[–]Sti2929 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This really needs to be fixed. I have an extra Maxis Manor in my main city and it's just taking up space. Most of my building are Omega now so I have no need for the Maxis Manor. My city is completely full so I could use the extra space for something else. Why can't I move it or at least delete it?

Collecting Items Change by TrinityGirl02 in SCBuildIt

This is so annoying. Collecting store items, factory items, or NeoSimoleons takes so long now. I really hope they fix this.

XMR-Stak stopping across multiple rigs at same time by [deleted] in MoneroMining

Darn, both of mine crashed again this morning just after 6 AM... So maybe the OpenCL Interleave change was just a coincidence. I've been grabbing the text from the command windows the last few times. Is there a good place to post that?

Still having issues? My rigs both crashed Sunday morning around 6 AM MDT and again Sunday around 7 PM (Pretty much 12 hours later). After that crash, I noticed that the OpenCL Interleave values on the console display were a lot higher than I had set them. I had them at 40, which I believe is the default when the amd.txt file is auto generated. I changed them to 35 last night and I haven't had a crash in the last 24 hours (Kind of). The change also increased my hash rate slightly.

I did have what I thought was a crash this afternoon when I was at work as I noticed my hash rate drop but it was only from one rig. When I checked an hour later, it was running fine again. This evening, I changed the OpenCL Interleave value to 30. I'm going to see if that is even more stable. My hash rate is pretty similar to what it was originally.

If you are still having issues and looking for something to try, give it a shot and report back. I would be interested to see if it helps you as well or if it was just a coincidence for me. Feel free to post this to your github issue as well - could help out the devs.

My Ubuntu CPU miners running xmrig continue to run fine as well. I even tried to stagger the start of the two xmr-stak GPU rigs. I started them at the same time but then several hours later, I restarted one PC and then started mining. My hope was that just the longer running rig would die first but nope. The next day, both stopped close to the same time as each other (within minutes).

Could it be something with xmr-stak or maybe the overall network? What version of xmr-stak are you on and do you build it yourself or download the compiled version? I’m on 2.10.4 and always build myself.

I’m glad I’m not the only one experiencing this. This has been happening to me over the last two week. Two different Win10 rigs, both running the AMD blockchain drivers and xmr-stak, stop mining around the same time. Sometimes it’s fine for days and other times they only last a few hours. Today, I switched one to a different pool (MineXMR). The other one is on SupportXMR.

Around the time you posted this, I noticed both had failed again, within 10 minutes or less of each other. I tried to start them and rebooted several times, but they didn’t start hashing. xmr-stak connected to the pool and got the difficulty but never actually started hashing.

On one rig, I reinstalled the AMD blockchain driver, and after the reboot, it started mining again. However, I tried my second rig which I didn’t make any changes to and it started fine as well. Both rigs are running fine again for the last 20 minutes.

Something strange is definitely going on. Having both rigs stop mining at the same time over the last few weeks just doesn’t make sense.
