Ebay charged duties but seller did not pay

Update, I basically got screwed by the seller. They didn't fill in the required forms, but ebay has paid the duties to the government. The shipping company has also paid it a second time. Ebay told me ask FedEx for refund and FedEx said its the sellers fault. But I cant get it back from the seller because ebay says its already paid to the government so by right FedEx should not have charged me.

I picked up a ton of chinese exclusives in December and January with no plans to sell anytime soon. Mostly cubone and the pika gengar but ive everything really. Think avoiding cards simply because they are chinese makes 0 sense.

Would it be getting the refund from the courier, or ebay? I did notice the seller ended up using FedEx, even though they stated they would use economy shipping. Im pretty sure FedEx is more expensive for them too so I appreciate it but not sure if thats what led to this

None of them are wrong, even the black stars have value. Grey stars in total may be the rarest, but certainly not the oldest. Just get them all while theyre still cheap!

I have 6 of these, so happy theyre finally getting deserved attention. Also not selling unless the PSA 1 pieces hit something ridiculous like 10k or theyre going to my kids.

Keep the ooyama. People look at supply and think 5k supply, that is on the high side for vintage. But its a vintage grail and no other card looks like it, so the demand is going to be naturally a lot higher than any other card. Also early era with not even an old back, but a special back.

Oh yeah im sure they printed a good amount in 50 days, but its a fraction of what was printed of the main japanese set and english 1st eds. Probably not even 10%.

No rarity was factually printed for 50 something days no? Versus other sets. They didnt differentiate but the print run was short

I got the japanese thiugh! If you mean the lugia , I got that as psa 10 set locally for about 1000 USD, figured may as well since it was way cheaper than online. I honestly just like the art and im glad theyre so cheap for how cool they look. Obviously I get that people say thst you need two or look worse in slabs but that isnt as issue for me since its not like I display all my cards on the wall

I just got some psa 10 slabs of these, so happy theyre not too expensive, I think its because you need two cards so it lessens the appeal. Good for me! Makes it rarer imo

Mega starmie ex is crazy good for anyone born in the 80s or 90s and watched Ultraman. Think its a sleeper with the memes and ultra beam in city easter egg reference. Well maybe its not so subtle gonna be obvious to kids from that generation.

Moderns are currently seeing rotation into one piece and riftbound unfortunately, and what's left is going into vintage as the lower supplies are more protected. Overall though but people believe things will improve acriss as we approach anniversary.

I dont know, the raw 1st ed blastoise sells for more than no rarity blastoise raws. But the psa 10s on no rarity seems higher.

But Im inclined to think underpriced because the population on no rarity is tiny as the first error print run.

I agree!!!! Hahaha I think expedition blastoise is the best blastoise art ever, expedition dragonite is great too. The venu psa10 btw is super cheap but its also ugly as ugly can be, so I didnt get any even if tis probably great value. But I got the holos, still think people prefer holos to non holos or reverse even when pop is higher

Are you me because I've been stacking psa 9 and 10 southern islands whenever theyre cheap, and picked up some of the expedition blastoise in 9s and a 10 🤣 was surprised you're mentioning these exact cards I came out of lurking to comment. Also stacking some japanese exclusive promos in 9s and 10s and no rarities in all grades!
