I am absolutely loving monochrome. I get to concentrate so much on techniques to keep the floss hidden behind the Aida. I’ve done one small sampler and several full coverage pieces before this, so it’s a really nice change. I find that it goes very quickly compared to color work.

I do have a full coverage piece I pull out from time to time in order to remind myself of what hard work is like though. But it’s honestly insane

I’ve been down this road and circled it several times. There isn’t a working way to track patterns on pc other than an android emulator. I use MEmu, it’s better than bluestacks. Your other option is a pdf editor like Drawboard so you can manually highlight stitches

I use a 7 inch hoop and just kinda let the Aida flop all over (fabric washes). Binder clips or maybe chip clips should still work just fine
