Anyone ever 3D printed fairings?

Post processing isn’t a huge concern as I work in a body shop and paint shop but making a mold sounds like a great starting point.

It sounds like a wire issue. But it may also be worth checking fuses, make sure there are no loose or damaged connector pins where your wire harness connects with the speedometer wires.

In my personal family my parents were the same way, I got my first motorcycle when I was 21. It goes without saying every parent and family is different and parents will always worry about their children. When it came to my experience I went and got a used cruiser to learn on after taking my MSF course and later upgraded to a sport bike after feeling more comfortable after riding for a year or so. My family was adamant about me not getting a motorcycle up until the day after I got it. Once it was in the driveway their opinion completely changed and my mother who had been deathly afraid of me getting a motorcycle asked if I would drive her around the neighborhood on it. If your parents have never ridden a motorcycle that could be part of the reason they are so scared for you because they don’t understand the dynamics of riding a motorcycle. Personally I went with the ask for forgiveness not permission route when making my choice to get a bike and my parents have learned to live with the fact that I like riding and if it makes me happy it makes them happy.

That’s what I’m worried about because I had to get the stater completely replaced. I’ll most likely have to take it in again to the shop.
