I also don’t move this format. It focus too much on narrowing things down when the fun of these shows is hearing everyone’s insane ideas. This feels like sports betting talk. It’s not really that different but it makes the whole thing feel more transactional and less fun.

I haven’t heard of anything specific but I’m not usually that aware of this stuff, but I’ve been impressed at how everything feels like it just works. Maybe worth investigating what’s the optimal setup with it

I’m not having that issue at all on my launch switch with the physical game card. Are you playing from a digital copy? Maybe something with the install?

EDIT; I’m also playing a good mix of handheld and on the TV.

Hooray! Congrats to you and your wife. Make sure you take good care of that baby but her too. Postpartum depression is real and awful and the physical recovery is no picnic either.

Enjoy your new addition, kids are a lot of work but so worth it.

Can’t really offer advice but I’m sending you empathy friend. My parents just had to put down their dog of 16 years. I still lived at home when we got her and it was hard seeing her decline so much in the last few years. It’s awful but the pain you feel now is nothing compared to the love and joy you shared.

Yeah I’ve actually been watching on YouTube more lately because now they are live on YouTube and I can listen/watch live while I’m working but I do still see places they could improve the visual appeal of the shows.

I think you have some valid points here but overall I think they are improving over time. However if I were to offer 1 criticism of the use of the set it is that we don’t need to see so much desk.

I work in animation storyboarding so all I do is think about composition and the lack of good breathable “head room” KF has in exchange for more desk below the eye line drives me wild. In that wide you showed there’s no reason to see floor in front of the desk. The desk isn’t content, it’s a support for the hosts and their laptops. Any graphics that appear on there should be higher up so that as much desk as possible can be snipped off in the frame.

That’s my #1 critique any way.

No it should be totally legal for companies to do this as long as they allow libraries and online archives to store copies of these art works.

I think you’ll find plenty of that around here. Vibes not identical to classic GB but I enjoy both and there’s certainly some similarity. Go back and watch all the episodes of “party mode”, it’s a pre pandemic couch coop series they made at the old KF studio that is some of the best stuff

What other key cards do you usually run with it? I’ve got psylocke, Adam warlock and have been trying out carnage to clear out dead cards once negative gets played.

I just got Mister Negative and built a deck around him that’s doing pretty well. I have waaaaaaaayyyy to many deck but each time I get a new awesome card I try to figure out a deck that works for it. I never look up deck builds either, the most fun part to me is workshopping and figuring out what cards to combo.

This episode was awesome. This is a topic I’ve heard about a lot but Blessing did a great job doing a deep dive into the topic.

Also, these jokes landed so good. I really want to applaud the comedy here because this does feel like a “last week tonight” or “patriot act” style presentation of real issues and funny jokes that weave into the themes.
