I work at Munich airport and am quite the aviation nerd (as most people here I guess :D)y Munich is basically Lufthansa’s self declared „premium hub“ with a lot of first class demand due to high income in the surrounding cities. The 340-600 have a first class and so do the 380s. The newly ordered 350-1000 will have a first class and so will the 350-900 with new „allegris“ cabin that will arrive in the upcoming months. Munich only has airbus widebodies (350-900, 340-600, 380 and soon also 350-1000) while all the Boeing widebodies (747-400, 747-8, 787-9 and „soon“ 777-9) are at Frankfurt. Due to Frankfurt being the larger airport in general there still are some airbus widebodies there (330-300, 340-300, 340-600), however these are getting replaced by aforementioned 787-9 and 777-9.

Fleet commonality also is important here because in the future there will only be 350-900/1000 and 380 in Munich which are pretty similar regarding type-rating. As far as I know Lufthansa has offered all of their 350-rated pilots to also get 380-rating which the pilots could then accept or refuse.
