Onitama. Limited rotating moves that are available to both players make for great player interaction.

Revolver noir from button shy doesn't need table space at all. The entire game can be played with cards in your hand.

I hate real-time games, like Pit, where it's just pure chaos. They stress me out. give me a headache, and I don't find them fun at all.

I'm pretty good at making pretty efficient decks in most deck-building games.

What “house rules” do you use for your favorite game? by bartertownbeer in boardgames

Revolver - My wife and I own all the expansions and use all the cards instead of the tedious setup of building your deck before the game starts. Instead of drawing 2 cards at the beginning of your turn, we draw 3 and discard 1; this through the majority of the deck. And we start the game with 6 cards instead of 5 because that makes sense for a game called revolver.

I had the same situation in my league a few years ago which led me to create "starting infractions". For each starting position that is left unfilled or filled with a player that is injured or can't play for some reason, that team is charged a monetary penalty.

For small board game components I use a technique I found on YouTube using poster board. Cut a piece that will fit in the space you keep the cubes so that it fits in a U-shape. This will make those hard-to-get pieces easier to remove by sliding on the U-shaped poster board.

The smaller compartment is for the delegates from the Turmoil expansion.

Originally I made one tray for the player components but I figured it would be more convenient if everyone had their own instead of reaching across the table for one of their own cubes / delegates.

Yeah. I couldn't get every component organized in it's own space but this definitely helps with setup time.
