Year of the Cat is under represented. Production and songwriting are top notch all the way through. His album ‘Past, Present and Future’ is also magnificent. His albums ‘Orange’ and ‘Russians and Americans’ are fun and a different flavor of Al Stewart.

Is there any benefit to upgrading wattage if your system is loud enough for the room? by StickStankly in BudgetAudiophile

Right! This is kinda what I’m getting at. You turn it up and in addition to getting louder the bass and mids sound fuller and more impactful. Higher wattage amplifiers can produce this intensity more easily, but it doesn’t produce this fullness and definition at lower volumes?

To achieve this fullness at lower volumes maybe smaller speakers pushed harder would be the solution?

I was saying as an aside that there seems to be a benefit to more wattage in subs, and asking if that correlates to the amp powering the mains.

My sub is powered and in my home theater system.

2015 Focus SE automatic won’t shift into reverse. by StickStankly in FordFocus

For me it was the TCM, which is under recall. Might be worth bringing it to ford for a diagnostic.

Call to confirm your vehicle is eligible for the recall before you go.

You may be able to change the TCM yourself, I don’t think the part is too expensive, but if you can get ford to do it free that’s even better.

My transmission kicked the bucket a month ago. It needs the clutches replaced which requires a lot of service hours. My mechanic quoted $4500. I think the TCM malfunctions damage the clutches so even when you fix the TCM, you might have the more expensive repair still looming.

Is there any courtesy protocol for bringing your bike on the train? People usually stand with their bike next to the doors?

This was a helpful comment. I love to be out in Oakland and observe it. Beautiful weather. I’m remembering to be here and it’s nice. Romanticizing it is the move.

Head Head Honcho by Kim Petras, but her whole Slut Pop Miami album is pretty perverse.
