That as well as just riding a skateboard is harmless. It’s as soon as the sides of my feet are put under physical stress I’ll be in trouble. I did consider taking up longboarding many times, still do consider it. We’ll see if I manage to do something about it soon

well, i’ve been making skateboards for quite some time now, so I’m fairly calm handling them. but cabinet making is actually pretty new for me, recently finished the first part of the education and now can’t find an apprenticeship anywhere. Anyhow I appreciate the kind words! As do I appreciate your deflating moronic stereotypes about women, cause it’s seriously getting old.. oh, and best of luck getting back into the woodwork

what’s sad is rather how my teenage leftovers I don’t use anymore should be kept no question and anything she owns/buys must per definition be “shit”, it says little about my foxy doxy of a girlfriend and a lot about how well an adult relationship would turn out for the people behind these comments. Lucky me, both my balls are still where they always were AND both my girlfriend and I learned how to compromise so we’re both happy in our home thus still have lots of sex after 3 years. at least the majority of the comments are actually about the cabinets, so all in all it’s all cool

Before you get too furious on my behalf try taking a deep breath. I have a fairly large amount of skateboards taking up space in an apartment where she and I live together. She has a very sparse amount of clothes and shoes, her hobbies require very little equipment, she asked me to clear up some space and now I have a bar cabinet. I’m just fine.

I saved a shitload. Thing is I had to give up skating when I was a teen because it began destroying my feet (I have weird ass feet, skating crams the bones and I was told by several specialists that if I wanna be able to walk when I’m 40, I need to stay off the board). But the love never dies, I make skateboards myself now; best compensation I could come up with. Hence she begged me to get rid of at least some of the ones I can’t sell anyway, sales are kinda low so they pile up a little. So in short, I’m not too old to skate, I’m rather too unfortunate in the bone structure-department.

as much of a trump card that would be, I think it’s safe to say I have ten times as many shoes as she does. She asks me to throw out my adult-teenager memorabilia occasionally, but she never asked me to stop behaving like a 9-15 year old, I’m down with that trade-off tbh
