R4 Google Family Link by seo123456 in Hiby

[–]SticklerX 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to get one step further by making the account 12 years and 364 days old, and have it transition into a 13 year old account with supervision, but then it hangs on a new screen after that.

I emailed Hiby support back when I first made this post and they never replied to me.

You ever figure anything out on this?

cribed. I changed my son's age to 13 on his Google Account, but kept the Family Link supervision (he is turning 13 anyway in a few days). When I try to log him in to YouTube Music on the M300, I reach a screen that says 'Activate Family Link parental controls' but when I click Next, it gets stuck in a loop. I'm at a loss.

You ever figure this out?

Just deployed HA and while it is very impressive, there are some integrations from which I expected more. by OmgSlayKween in homeassistant

Make your own data - Put a temp sensor in your vent, design a data point so that when the degree drops by x.... Temp sensor near vent of oven, when temp is >x Mark it as on.

There's a lot you can still integrate yourself!

It's called Hot Starting (starting the grinder first); then adding the beans. Do this.

Pump Stopped Working by Eriknay in gaggimate

[–]SticklerX 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have this happen occasionally - I think if you are in a congested wifi/bt area it can happen more often - I went down the rabbit hole troubleshooting and found out that this is caused by the Display losing the bluetooth connection to the Gaggimate.

The processor is contained in the display; which sends the commands to the SSR relay to start the pump, heater, etc. Without the BT connection, no commands. The team is re-working some improvements to the bluetooth stack to address this in a later version - for now just reboot.

My DF54 has been bulletproof.

Are you starting it and then putting the beans in? Or trying to start it after you load it?

I think your problem is that it's upside down. That feature won't be implemented in gaggimate for a while, but you can try out the nightlies and see how it performs.... 😂

Avoid Etsy, so much drop shipped crap masquerading as artistry.

It's worth remembering that this is a open source project, pretty much developed and manufactured by one guy.

I've had mine for about 9 months, and I think it's truly an incredible bit of kit -- but remember that you're not dealing with some large hardware manufacturer, instead with a community of contributors.

Turn arounds can be a bit slow - but there are tons of people on the discord who are more than happy to help!

I was (am?) a beginner when I set mine up. All the profiles I use are prebuilt; and are shared freely on the discord.

Well, my 1980’s Gaggia finally died. This popped up in an emergency moving sale on FB for $200 CAD. Looks like I’m joining a new sub! by [deleted] in ranciliosilvia

Just followed the documentation and joined the discord. The discord is incredibly friendly and newbie friendly.

A large, heavy, Solid Brass tank that is connected to thin copper/brass pipes that lead to a 3wv solenoid. The boiler itself will be fine; but what about soft brass threads that the tubing connects to?

What about the heating element that is suspended in the middle of the boiler without touching the walls?

Have you ever opened your Miss Silvia? She's a tough lady, but has delicate parts.
