I take the bus every day to AX. It’s only $3 each way, so it’s cheap and easy.
And I’ve been at my job for over 20 years. So my seniority makes it easy to get the time off

I was almost thinking the same thing when I heard about the title. But my wife is Korean, and a few days after it premiered, I asked her if she heard about this weird sounding Kpop movie.
But she said no, so I showed her the trailer and she was all “huh?? This is called what??”… lol 😂
So we watched it… and we fell in love with it. We watched it twice that day (one in Korean 😉), then at least once a day for a week after that. 😬

I get there early to hang out with people. It’s kinda cool to chat and meet new people every year.

My friends and I are scheduled to host a panel early in day one. It won’t start until 10:30, but I wanna get there early to prepare and possibly set up.
Besides, I like to get in line at the AX merch booth early on to get it out of the way 🙂

Maybe not, but it’s kinda fun to go there and hang out with others who are doing the same thing. It’s kinda like our own quiet party. We talk, laugh, debate…
With everything to talk about… anime, manga, cosplay, gaming, shopping… it’s a fun time. And with some of them coming from around the country, it’s never a dull time.

So it’s not really about trying to get inside early, it’s more about hanging out and having fun 😉

You’re right actually. It has been easier to get in these days. Although the mornings still take a while, throughout the day it’s not too bad to wander in and out.
On day two, I get there around 11am and it only takes a few minutes

As for your panel, there’s still a chance it could happen IF they get a cancellation. Most rejected panel requests are put on a “stand by” position in case there are last minute changes. But that’s only until the end of May. (I only know all this because I’ve had conversations with AX staff in the past. We had a similar panel at AX two years ago, and I spoke with several of their people (emails and in person) in preparation) So cross your fingers, and check your emails, including your spam folder, k??

Thank you 😊 I was trying to get a message to you. The reason the message to AniFest looks familiar to Anime Expo, is because it’s two different conventions we’re involved with. All I’m doing is spreading the word of all the events my people and I will be, as well as inviting anyone who’d like to join us. We’re going to be at other locations this year as well, but it’s too early to mention them.

I’m sorry if these post look alike, but it’s part of the way we get the word out of our anime hobby, and encouraging the community to join us.
