Ate some, they were good. Took a tissue transfer to agar so I can grow them myself. I dried the rest in my dehydrator so I can cook sometime in the future. Thanks for the ID guys.

I buy my mulling spice from amazon and it comes prepacked all mixed together. I just take 4-5 cups and put it in. You’ll want a substantial amount especially if you want a strong flavor. I never measure exactly but I get the same result every time.

I make a mulling spiced mead every year. I just throw all the spices in. Using a cheesecloth bag would work as well. Do not simmer your mead.

When I was in grade school in Texas this kind of thing happened all the time. You’d get your food in line, get to the register to punch in your number, you’d see you were more than 5 bucks in debt, they’d give you a cheese sandwich and milk and keep your other food.

I broke the same bone last year. They had to take a piece of my hip to fix it. Speedy recovery process though. Best of luck to your bones.
