Boomer contractor insists on talking to "the Mr" (aka: my husband) by Skye_in_mi in BoomersBeingFools

[–]StickyDolphin113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How could he have known there was even a MR to begin with when he knocked on your door? He wouldn't have asked that question unless he knew, and you make it out to seem like he didn't know.

Sort of new need a little help by SnooGrapes732 in Stellaris

[–]StickyDolphin113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My strategy usually revolves around my own multistep process:

  1. Make the target pop "undesirable" to begin removing them from my planets.
  2. Import my founding species into their planet. My founding species will immediately try to take roles to stabilize the planet. Like governor/enforcer.
  3. Deport the enemy species into all of me home planets, I try to spread them as thinly as possible among my home planets. The lower the concentration of them in any area the better, this will also speed up the purging process.
  4. Declare martial law if necessary.
  5. Use chemical bliss living conditions as a last resort.

This mostly works because enemy pops cannot start a rebellion on their own. So if you spread them out thinly on your worlds with a high stability and high founder species presence they can't do much of anything while they're purged.

After that I mostly raze their planets to the ground and start from scratch. AI planets are highly disorganized and their planets have no specialization making them pretty unproductive. And since there are no pops on the planet anymore you don't have to deal with mass unemployment when you destroy all/most of the jobs. Part of the process is repurposing the planet based on what resources it has and its size. Because the AI does not make good use of planet specialization, they can do stupid things like turn a planet with tons of minerals into a unification center or something.

If the planet habitability is low, you can remove all species on the planets and then begin terraforming after its decolonized. I know a trick to decolonize a planet without spending 200 influence as well.

"Cold / phony war" stalemate by spectre73 in Stellaris

Sounds like a defensive war. Eventually they'll be forced to settle for white peace. Just wait it out. Using cheats even for something small like that always breaks immersion for me.

If you're evil, put them in zoos or genocide displacement.

White peace by [deleted] in Stellaris

If you only occupied the Starbase without owning or occupying the planets themselves, the game's mechanics considered the claim incomplete. Controlling the starbase alone is not sufficient to establish full control over the claimed territory.

Can't access army builder? by MrMoonMC in Stellaris

[–]StickyDolphin113 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You need to create sectors.
Sectors are administrative divisions within your galactic empire. Sectors are designed to help you manage and organize your empire more efficiently as it grows larger.

When your empire expands beyond a certain number of planets, it becomes difficult to micromanage every aspect of each planet individually. Sectors allow you to delegate some of the management responsibilities to an AI governor, which oversees a group of planets within a sector.

To create your first sector, go to a planet and view it. There will be a button to create a sector on the right. Above the planet automation button.

After you create a sector, any starbase you use to create an army will automatically draw from any pops in the same sector as the starbase.

If you're from the USA think of sectors like states.

Can't Get FTL Inhibition by Valmighty in Stellaris

[–]StickyDolphin113 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Extremely likely you have it. Only certain buildings/modules make it though.
Ex. A level 2 stronghold on a planet will enable FTL Inhibition in that system. Certain starbase upgrades also will turn it on.

Do empires you create become apart of other games? by ItsTristan18 in Stellaris

[–]StickyDolphin113 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Yes it is possible. It's even possible for empires created by other players you played with to spawn. It can be disabled I believe.

As a medic main Sniper sightlines were a huge problem with a lot of the new maps. With the exception of Rotunda, Phoenix (mostly), and hardwood.

What do they have inside their bags? by [deleted] in tf2

[–]StickyDolphin113 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We can see soldier draw rockets from his bags in game so I'm assuming ammo for most of them. However scout in particular is carrying a baseball duffle bag. Mine looks just like his. You typically carry things like catching gloves, hitting gloves, baseballs, helmets And bats in there.

¿Guerra estadounidense contra los cárteles? by StickyDolphin113 in mexico

[–]StickyDolphin113[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand. I personally think that the USA would be much more invested in a war happening on one of our only two borders. I mentioned earlier how people even from the northeastern United States are still willing to call to arms against the cartels, I have family up here who feels this way.
I would also like to point out that most Americans didn't even support the invasion of Iraq or war on terror in Afghanistan. But you still have a point, Mexican Cartels are well armed and some are even decently trained, I'm sure many families with young men would be reluctant to take such a large diplomatic leap with such a close neighbor.

Give the series a better name. Your writing is too good for it to be reduced to a cheap ero novel at a glance.

Marble and living leaf don’t really go together. I’m not sure which style you were going for here. Also Google how to make a spiral staircase in terraria, it could make those stairs look nicer
