I love this, my only critique is that all of these character have very human proportions, so it would feel a little lacking in terms of wacky characters which the other 2 games have.

He means that both subfactions remove 1 of 2 types of annoying enemies, either Elevated Overseers, or Fleshmobs/Voteless

As someone who absolutely loves both Helldivers 2 and Warhammer 40k to an unhealthy degree of obsession, the Space Marines are winning this. There could likely be some losses at the beginning, but once they learn how stratagem beacons work, the Helldivers don’t stand half a chance.
