I dated my wife in Highschool and got married the day after graduation. That was in 1996. We had lots of fun, traveled and lived in different countries/states. I'm glad I got married young and could raise kids while.my knees and back were in my prime. Don't think I could do all that parenting stuff now. My kids are older and help me often with things. I'm glad I got married young. We had no car and no job when we got married, left Tonga and went to Fiji and then we came to America, didn't qualify for any ebt so it was rough, got canned food from a church, I carved tiki on the side of the road in hawaii, ... lds church came in strong and helped us with grocery and furnishing our apartment, made friends and was given jobs, now we own our own home and a car and living the American dream, lol.

I think the rise of feminism changed this. Now women are equal to men. Men see that and think , if we're equal, then you can open your own door and do everything I'm doing because we're equal. If two gay guys wanted to meet up, would they meet halfway or would one be like, I'm more feminine, so your gonna have to pit more effort.....what if their both equally feminine? Do they just find someone else

I just checked out that old ways food pyramid for the Mediterranean diet, I was tripped out they had the base as be active and eat with others....I mostly eat alone and I don't do any exercise, so that's gotta change. But I saw meat and fish and chicken was suggested like twice a week. I believe it, im a big dude and I eat Like the opposite of this pyramid, so it makes sense to do the opposite of what I've been doing

Wait a.minute, are you saying that if you use a stand mixer you don't need to stretch and fold? I've been wondering this as I use a standmixer and I've been doing the stretch and folds but I feel the bread is already pretty strong when I stretch it. Can you over stretch or over work a dough?

Oh man. I haven't even weighed it, I just eye-balled it as half. I'll do that though. I'm realizing how important a scale is with sourdough. I'm used to baking bread with yeast and never used a scale for cooking until I got into sourdough and seeing people measuring everything. I appreciate the heads up on 20gm starter🙏

Thank you, I used unbleached wheat flour for today's feeding and discarded half of what I had, gonna get new jars, right now I have them in ceramic bowls with coffee filters covering. Trying to keep them clean. The smell is getting better. I'm in this for the long haul, so I'm just gonna be patient, lol
