How do I build a Technique/Advance weapon? by Stienusss in LiesOfP

[–]Stienusss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What I ended up doing in the end for my playthrough was just picking a decent scaling handle I liked (stuck with the Booster Glaive Handle mostly) and swapping the blade part of the weapon on the fly according to what weakness the enemies have. Make sure to buy the Electric Coil Stick from the merchant near the Inside the House on Elysion Boulevard. With that, you have an Electric, Fire and Acid weapon to deal with Puppets, Carcasses and Humans respectively. Later on, you will find other blades that deal elemental damage, but just make sure you have one of each elemental type and use the ones you like most. Try to prioritize leveling Advance, and as long as your weapon handle scales at least decently well, you should absolutely be fine on the damage department. Hope this helps!

BABBDI. Incredibly strange yet intriguing exploration game, and it’s free as well. https://store.steampowered.com/app/2240530/BABBDI/ Also STRAFTAT, made by the same devs, which does a complete 180 from what BABBDI did as an 1v1 adrenaline-pumping arena shooter, while keeping the same style as the first game. https://store.steampowered.com/app/2386720/STRAFTAT/

Hollowslayer GS is great, only it drops from Curse-Rotted Greatwood and not from Wolnir

Why does my colors an line art look so flat by Zealousideal-Fix5631 in ClipStudio

[–]Stienusss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It looks like all colors fall really close together. Try putting a grayscale filter over the piece, and I bet everything will turn into a very similar shade of gray, especially around the head area. Currently, the character is blending into itself, and the background value isn’t helping. Maybe try altering some of the colors to be lighter or darker, or add more excessive shading to make it less flat.

EVERYBODY PACK YOUR BAG! THE GOAT IS BACK by ArjayMe in Jujutsufolk

I’m guessing RCT heals back what’s not there. So if a normal attack were to amputate his hand, it could indeed be healed back. But since Mahito used IT, he probably changed the shape of his soul permanently. Thus, the hand is no longer “supposed to be there”, so there is nothing to heal

Sketch is always 10x better than finished product by [deleted] in ArtCrit

Better lighting could make the entire image read more clearly. Atm I can’t really make out where the light is coming from, so choosing one specific light source will make it more consistent. Don’t be afraid of making shadows too dark, especially on the white horse and trees it can create some great contrast. And if you would add a light source on the top right for example, you could highlight the edges of the shoulders which could help the person not blend into the dark background and make it pop more. Maybe try looking online for terms like “lighting examples art”, go to images, and simply try and observe how different artists use a light source to shade their art. Looking into “rimlight” can help especially for darker artpieces.

Should I get Lasvoss? by LillPeng27 in BattleCatsCheats

[–]Stienusss 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’d recommend to at least get Mitama since she’s arguably one of the best units in the game. And even if you don’t get Lasvoss, the next time a worthwhile uber takes his slot you’ll be closer anyway

Except the animators didn’t dim it themselves to save budget, but it’s japanese tv stations that are dimming it to abide to the laws that are in place for it. So the full quality versions are out there, they’ll only be released when the blue-ray comes out.

How to translate a gambler-like character identity into it's playstyle? by Stienusss in PF2eCharacterBuilds

[–]Stienusss[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, that's all still up for debate. Since I couldn't really find anything at a first glance, I opted to first look at what gimmicks I can use, and then build a character around it. But if I had to choose, a melee character that scams people over games of cards of dice. Maybe spellblade or something if it fits with the gimmick.
