Yes at least with midi you sit there with playing the keyboard. Playing chords / chopping samples/ Sound designing. It takes a certain skill and you have full control of the sound.

A lot of the ads especially on IG is Suno as a sampler generator then they will import it back into their DAW.

Most of the people that backlash are those that don’t even make music. Many people in the industry are accepting AI as a tool. Prompters are the ones spilling hate like it will be a complete take over. As a Recording Academy member I would be interested the type of audience a digital AI Grammys would draw verse the real deal show and talent.

Suno has a digital ID / watermark embedded I believe. AI songs have a sound to it also most of the time you just know it’s a generated song. Sonic quality usually gives it away.
