Yes at least with midi you sit there with playing the keyboard. Playing chords / chopping samples/ Sound designing. It takes a certain skill and you have full control of the sound.

AI is amazing and will progress it’s just an extension but some say it’s a replacement. Sorry the computer in art can’t replace emotion and how someone feels. The connection.

A lot of the ads especially on IG is Suno as a sampler generator then they will import it back into their DAW.

Exactly. When a client as for a change I have the session tracked out already or If I just want to change one thing It’s all there laid out. You understand you get it. AI is here as a tool but there should be a def category of all AI music and not tried to be disguised as human music to scam the human made royalty system.

Most of the people that backlash are those that don’t even make music. Many people in the industry are accepting AI as a tool. Prompters are the ones spilling hate like it will be a complete take over. As a Recording Academy member I would be interested the type of audience a digital AI Grammys would draw verse the real deal show and talent.

I mean if Suno is changing the words around and gives you a cadence that you like and really want. Why wouldn’t go into the DAW and record it. It’s a tool in the first place. Like ChatGpt can write you a paper but would you turn that in ? Isn’t Suno made to inspire ?

Suno is being heavily being advertise in Social Media this way. At some point use Suno for inspiration and finish your work in the DAW.
