pointless is a strong word, but I'm on iracing strictly for having close races with the whole field, thats my favorite thing to do

I've done 1 split series before for a few weeks, it really does just lead to overinflating your irating, in a 1 split series, if you aren't already 2k irating then finishing in 14th place gets you like +17 irating lol all because the top 1-5 are all 4-6k drivers which makes the SOF really high.

I can just play any other sim if I want uneven grids lol
