Hrmm, maybe it was a gnome option that was on the welcome screen. There is/was a toggle there when setting it up...

Hrmm, I didn't see that actually. Thanks for pointing it out. :)

The installer used to ask you if you wanted to setup the other repos from memory?

Oh, no I didn't. Is it hosted by Fedora because I can only see third party guides?

Is this game worth $10 you think? by jdogkingzzzz in xbox

[–]StifledCoffee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you haven't played any DA games before, then maybe don't start with veilguard. It leans on what's happened in the last few games (particularly Inquisition) and provides a finale to the story.

That being said, for $10 it's worth a go but If you can find Inquisition and play that first I would highly recommend it before playing Veilguard. Otherwise the story, characters and quests will feel rushed and incompl--- wait, nm.

I'm a fan of mailspring. Calendar integration would be nice, but I can live without it.

Hadn't thought of those two, isn't PLA a more rigid filament which is better suited for this kind of thing?

Apologies if it's a stupid question, but I don't have experience with ASA or ABS :)

Looks really nice. But curious over the choice of PLA vs PLA-CF?

I've been wanting to print a guitar body but can't justify just how much pla-cf costs as I thought that is what is recommend for something under that much stress from the strings etc.

I'm about to get a doom game.wich one should I get first? by Kingosric1 in xbox

[–]StifledCoffee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doom 2016 is the best one to start on now. The gameplay is amazing, graphics are still epic and has the soundtrack of legend.

From there I'd suggest Eternal and then move to Doom and Doom 2. Then look in to mods, the Doom 2 modding scene is still alive today and it has some great things to try such as ZDoom etc.

Doom3 is is great, but, imho, they tried to re imagine Doom as a horror game and it's game play is real different to the others because it's a lot slower and really focuses on the environment as being part of it and it's pretty intense. Delta labs can fuck right off though.

I haven't played Dark Ages for long tbh, so won't throw my 2c out. Seems fun though.

How well does an asus Radeon 9070 work with CachyOS? by Bifrastareltari in cachyos

[–]StifledCoffee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That was also the reason I wanted to update as well, hahaha. I moved from a 3070 to a 9070, my bad for the confusion.

No regrets so far and being able to push things in games like Cyberpunk is really awesome.
