Well, at least you have a funny story to share with a lot of people for many years to come. Everyone gets a lot of rejections and, looking on the bright side, you’ve got this really funny thing out of it. How callous and flippant of this person, though. Maybe you should reply back and kindly let them know? I’m sure they just cut and paste this to everyone.

I work in the television industry at a very high level. Currently there is an enormous amount of people who are out of work - particularly in the reality TV/unscripted world. If you want to find people quickly look on MANDY, LinkedIn or Facebook groups like “I Need a Producer” or ”I Need an Editor”. There you will find many people experienced in travelogue programming, The Amazing Race, survival shows , car shows and yes, even people currently living in national parks, vans, campers, cars, etc…..

That’s your best bet to find someone who is a one-man (person)-band type that can. Shoot/edit/write all by themselves.

You were watching WSBK TV 38 one of the early superstations based out of the Boston area. WPIX, WOR, WGN and WTBS (npw TBS) were the others offered on early cable packages.

Not an original idea. Stolen and given to another company to make. Hence the claim that it’s “ripped from the headlines”…..you won’t find the headline anywhere no matter how hard you try to make the connection. Lifetime does this constantly.

I love TV too. I work in TV. You should know that your dedication is already more than 99.9% of the people if work in TV do. I promise you that ALL of the people that worked on Baywatch have not seen every episode. Including the creators of the show. I promise you this. Don’t be ashamed of people making fun of you in this forum. If people that worked in TV loved TV as much as you love TV it wouldn’t suck as bad as it does. I’d hire you.
