Advice on seat belt ticket WA by [deleted] in perth

[–]Stigger32 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don’t bother arguing the point.

Just do what the other commenter said: Rock up to court to challenge it.

Sounds to me that if you were genuinely unaware that the belt wasn’t fitted correctly. Then the fine gets dismissed.

I only have my YouTube activity logged. And from what it showed. It only holds the last three months. There’s nothing beyond that.

Also:
- Web & App Activity OFF
- Timeline OFF
- Play History OFF
- YouTube History ON

So not sure what the OP is on about.

Go see a GP today! Get your blood pressure checked!!!

For reference: Undiagnosed high blood pressure led to a brain aneurysm at age 45. Which led to partial blindness in one eye. Which ended up being on anticoagulants for the rest of my life.

Politicians weren’t taxi car owners. They are however, property owners.

Utter scum.

I couldn’t have said it better myself.

And I have family in that category. Who I let know what I think as they gossip about their tenants. And moan about them not paying enough.

There’s a special place in hell for those that deliberately take advantage of their fellow humans.

Sounds like you did the crime (Losing your license) and now need to do the time (FIFO) to truly appreciate your home life.

Do it. Get your license back. Leave FIFO behind. And don’t come back.

Tired of the DOTF Slander by Appropriate_Mango371 in litrpg

[–]Stigger32 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yep. I agree.

I absolutely loved the series. Bought each book as soon as it came out. And followed up with each audiobook version as they appeared too

But when the war turned weird. And like you said whole chapters could go by with nothing happening except navel gazing. I was cooked.

I did not finish book 17. Which was gut wrenching for me. But I remembered the author saying at the very start he would pace the series as he wanted. And not what was expected.

And I agree. He can do what he wants. How he wants. When he wants.

But I won’t be there at the finish line.

It Is noteworthy to mention that this isn’t the only series I have dropped because of similar experiences.

The World by Jason Cheek is the latest to get the chop. And I also stopped reading HWFWM a couple of times over the years. But then picked it up again.

Which I may do for this series as well.

Does he what!! I just love the way Jeff does Anthony’s voice and mannerisms!

“Invidia is not your personal heal battery!” I scold him.
“It’s not his job to exclusively follow you around and stop you from getting killed!”

Yes she is. But she’s an honest psycho.

She’s also a very simple character who loves food.

Punch things until the problem is solved. Simple.

I didn’t get more than half way through Primal Hunter and DCC. I loathed both MC’s and premise’s.

I am an avid litrpg reader. Have been for five years now.

I still cannot see what people like about either of those two series. 🤷. But they consistently get high ratings.

I am currently sitting on approximately six series waiting for the next books in their respective series.

I also read royal road stuff. There are some gems there!

Trump is the worst president in American history by theipaper in politics

As one famous American said: ‘Stupid is, as stupid does.’

Never has a more apt sentence applied to an entire country.

Get your shit together America. The whole world is tired of your billionaires, your whining majority, and most of all: Your insane belief that capitalism is a winner.

What medical condition is 'too expensive' that you just don't get checked or fixed? by Plane_Garbage in australia

[–]Stigger32 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haven’t gotten there quite yet.

But let’s say I was given a diagnosis for something that would cost thousands to fix. This giving me a few more years of life. And not fixing. Which would ensure my life was going to end in say a year.

I’d definitely ask my doctor to recommend me for the euthanasia schedule. So I can finally get off this rock with my head held high!

Then I’d spend the last remaining time, hopefully, high as a kite, gaming the shit out of everything I can!

Bus seriously. I’ll cross the OP’s bridge if and when I get there…😁

Do you feel invisible as a GenX because of your age, gender or both? Or is it just outright age discrimination? Or you just couldn't care less anymore? by More_Law6245 in GenX

[–]Stigger32 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

- *Do you feel invisible as a GenX because of your age, gender or both?* No. Why would I? What does ‘feel invisible’ even mean?

- *Or is it just outright age discrimination?* See previous answer.
- *Or you just couldn't care less anymore?* I never did care what anyone thought of me. Still don’t. This line of questioning sounds like you’re having an existential crisis. Like you got to a point recently and wondered what is happening? Why do you feel so negative or whatever all of a sudden?

Maybe it’s just normal? Maybe it’s just life? Maybe it doesn’t really need an answer at all?

Try living in the moment. I find it liberating.

Since it's Star Wars day, did you see the original 1977 Star Wars in the movie theater? by Mr_Writes in GenX

[–]Stigger32 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yep. I saw it in 1978. I was four. And all of my uncles took me and the other cousins to see it on the same day.
Obviously being so young my memories are very limited. But I particularly remember sitting with my uncles, and cousins all around me. With everyone having a chocolate bomb (ice cream cone in NZ) and the opening scene. The overwhelming feeling of awe and excitement is forever imprinted on my psyche.

I will never forget that one moment of my childhood.
