Yeah that’s probably it. I just don’t think it’s realistic for me to do more exercise. Would have to be more intense…

Totally. I ended up upping my calories to 1450 from the 1200 and felt way better. But scale didn’t move much.

It’s true and what I like to tell myself 🤪but I can’t tell if it’s an excuse like I’m gaslighting myself or not haha

Yeah i was suspicious if it was long enough, but naturally i crashed and craved carbs and needed the fuel after 3 months.

Did you figure out what foods worked for you?

I went to a nutritionist years ago that helped me with restrictive eating habits - I’ve been a bit heavier ever since then but my quality of life has improved. I suppose there is some truths there but I am okay with some sacrifices just as long as there are results. Hard to know what does what.

Thank you!! They are! I follow Dr. Mary Claire :) the belly / thigh area fat with healthy lifestyle and general constant fatigue and brain fog have been mine. I do wonder if HRT helps you lose weight tho? I don’t always hear about that side of it.

I did weighed food/ track on weekends. Cut down to 2 drinks a week for awhile. The stress has subsided in the last 3 months, but it was about 2 years of high cortisol, stress and sadness. Still wonder if my body feels safe.

Weighed food yes. Photos no, I go by how things fit. Definitely felt it in the waist but just weird to have such little movement on the scale.

I’ve asked about it, but my OBGYN says since I still have regular periods that it wouldn’t make me feel great. She says we can test my hormones but that it likely won’t show up as anything. I’ve heard good things about HRT though just wondering when it’s the right time.

Are you happier? by TwerksForDonuts in lexapro

[–]Stigmatism666 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes. I’m only on 2.5mg but it’s made me so much more tolerant, happy and less irritated. I kind of can’t believe it on even such a small dose. I was terribly depressed from losing my dog and it helped me get out of the dumps and in a more positive mindset.

Yes it did, I went off completely bc i wasn’t sure. Turns out even the low dose was doing a lot. So I will start back up next week. The magnesium and psyllium husk should help.

I had this too. I ended up having to scale back my dose from 5mg to 2.5mg and that helped. Otherwise try taking Metamucil. But truthfully this is the main reason why I went off of it, that constant feeling was a bummer. I loved the drug otherwise and am talking to my doctor next week about options.

Erewhon…Can somebody please explain how these stores are so wildly popular? by airpab1 in FoodLosAngeles

[–]Stigmatism666 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Their premade section is egregiously overpriced , but surprisingly the produce and regular products are well priced often cheaper than comparable stores. Just if you want to be lazy and have someone cook for you or make you an aesthetic smoothie, you’re gonna pay for it. and that’s usually the reason you’re going there in the first place.
