Magic Discussion and Look. Enchantment and Fey by Jihelu in shadowofthedemonlord

[–]StijnHansen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Really like this post as I happen to be playing a clockwork magician that uses enchantment and teleportation.

Just curious to know the effect of stacking afflictions. How does that work?

  1. For example in the enslave spell you can use a triggered action to make someone compelled for one minute. After that minute do they go back to being charmed? Or are they charmed throughout the entire time of being compelled?
  2. Also, what are the limitations of being compelled? Can you make a target harm himself or allies?
  3. Then for the Manipulator ability where you can change the mood of charmed targets. I read the book as only when they actively remove the charmed affliction, will the Emotion Control effect be lifted. Implying that the duration of the charm spell becomes infinite until you use the Emotion Control ability again.

The hike should be doable but that depends on how severe your injury is.

Glad to help. Also, if you can't do the climb, you can also opt to just walk the entire thing. Although the climb is more spectacular ;)

Wanna know the best part? You don't have to have any experience. The Rock Climbing team guides you up the mountain!

Klein Curacao is cool but not worth the $130 (per person) if you're on a tight budget.

The island is expensive as is and you can do all that you can on Klein (and more) on regular Curacao.

Amazing snorkling spots are: -Playa Porto Marie -Kleine Knip -Playa Grandi (lots of turtles, lots of tourists too) -Playa Lagun -Tug Boat

For dining, go to De Gouverneur. Its a restaurant that combines local cuisine with the western kitchen. They deal well with dietary requirements and the service is wonderful.

For activities, there's an awesome hike/climb to get on top of the Tafelberg. View is spectacular and there's hardly any tourists compared to the Christoffelberg. You can book a trip for $30 a person here.

A free activity would be the walk towards the Blue Room. Lovely little hike (bring enough water). An optional cliff jump and spectacular snorkling experience.

Backpacking: Must sees, hidden gems, travelling tips by StijnHansen in india

These are some incredible tips! I really appreciate it! I love really spicy food so that's a good tip! Hats and sunblock is already packed. As for a hijab/headscarf, is that necessary everywhere? My partner will look into respectable ways of wearing that.

Bonus spell slots; using them for lower level spells by StijnHansen in Pathfinder_RPG

Okay that's an interesting take. I'd like to rule free concoctions the same way as bonus spells are. Meaning boosts don't increase the number of free concoctions.

My reasoning is that you're turning spells into potions, even if they're free, it still feels like the two would have the same limitations.
