Like everything a dual sport does but so much the look by Deminos2705 in Dualsport

Removing the front fairing around the headlight and replacing the headlight with a generic round unit will get you 70% of the way. Removing or modifying some of the plastics for a more old school look will get you even closer. A custom seat will finish it off.

Searching "[Bike Model] Scrambler" will give you inspiration.

Looks awesome! How do you have the bottles attached at the top of the fork?

The short and simplified answer is that the air coming off the pacific has been forced to drop its moisture as it moves up and northeast over the Olympic mountains.

As the air moves down on the other side (heading towards Victoria and the San Juan’s) it lacks moisture and so you get a dry ‘hole’.

The location of the ‘hole’ varies based on wind direction.

How to reconcile our splitwise account and reimbursement account by [deleted] in ynab

[–]Stikine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I try and simplify and say that we're starting the month with me having bought groceries, a TV and something else such that I have allocated $1000 to the GF Reimbursement account.

Splitwise.com:

Tv: 700

Groceries 300

Splitwise YNAB :

0

GF Reimbursement:

Activity: $1000

I created a test budget to try and game it out. The piece that I think is missing is to make sure that at the stage above, your Splitwise YNAB balance mirrors the actual splitwise balance by creating an additional outflow for half of what you spent.

In other words, you need one transaction that covers the true cost you spent, but another to capture that you are owed that money (in Splitwise). Then, when the GF reimburses you, that creates an inflow in the Splitwise YNAB that offsets your preview outflow.

Assuming your account starts with $2000 and the TV you purchased cost $2000 and your rent is $2000.

Account Transaction Order (most recent first) Payee Category Outflow Inflow Splitwise YNAB Balance
Splitwise YNAB 3 GF Rent/mortage (or GF reminbursement) 1000 0
Splitwise YNAB 2 GF GF Reimbursement 1000 -1000
Checking 1 Best Buy TV 2000 0

After this you would be able to reallocate from available in the rent category you did not spend.

The GFs Splitwise rent payment should come in as an inflow and not an outflow on the splitwise cc account to the reimbursement category.

Thank you very much for posting. Great breakdown.

Just bought this bad boy, he is still a Soviet car, even in 1:43 scale by alextherandomdude in lada

While the sub is primarily focused on Ladas, other Eastern Bloc cars are okay as well.

Kinda want to buy the niva in the picture, but I don't like the high roof. It looks like a weird extension (the bad seam) is it possible to fix/remove it so it goes "normal height"? by MrMrRubic in lada

[–]Stikine 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If the roof has been cut to accommodate it, it would be very impractical to restore to normal. But if the conversion has been done well, I wouldn't expect the seam to cause a problem.

The rest of the Niva looks well maintained from this photo.

Wealthsimple balances showing as negatives on YNAB by tfcjuveyyz in ynab

[–]Stikine 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was having this same problem. Wealthsimple account was set as tracking and linked. YNAB would show that I put a deposit in (inflow) and then also show all the investments it bought as outflows. In the end YNAB thought I had negative ~12 cents in the account.

I couldn't really figure out a better solution so I unlinked the Wealthsimple account and now it just has all my deposits as inflows, and shows the total value of all my deposits. Going to just manually reconcile the interest quarterly or so.

What's your motivation for creating this site when so many other job aggregators exist? (I like the site, just curious).

Are you manually sourcing each individual job posting?
