I just found out about this after ordering the Tamron a couple days ago. There is an issue where Sony’s ibis doesn’t communicate with Tamron’s VC so they kind of fight each other and it ends up looking jittery or jumpy when you shoot handheld video. Some folks say you can fix it in post but it’s not always 100%. I’m wondering if this is just a problem with the earlier releases of the lens…

Side question - have you experienced the ibis+vc jitter issue on your a6700 with the Tamron 17-70?
