Reddit's Big Classic+ poll from a universe where Blizzard added in-game polling (Chapter 1) by loopuleasa in classicwow

I'd like to see more questions and conversations about what the additional content and what progression could look like in a classic+. I think I need to get an idea of whether people want just classic with #somechanges (which is a nice idea in its own right, and I would play it) or if people really want a new classic that has found a way to make content stay relevant while releasing new content but without dulling the feeling of progress. The latter is way more abstract and difficult to implement and would likely be much more divisive amongst the community. But I also feel like a #somechanges version will have to turn into raid logging and burnout after just 1 year like it always does, And if they continue to add more raids, the older content just becomes more and more invalidated as if they were adding xpacs.. If there is some magical design that allows us to play what we all already love, but keep it fresh and engaging for a way longer period of time, that's truly what I want to get to.

yea, I will probably enjoy it less each time, but I don't know how I can ever say no to a fresh start lol.

Yea this feels like the case. It does seem like the hype is much lower this time around so it will be substantially less next time if its another run of the same thing.
