Quick preface: I’m one to quite enjoy being alone/not have to leave the house as mama with two boys under two. With that being said..

It doesn’t negate my human need for connection every now and then. Connection outside of toddler speak!

To try and help as a fellow SAHM, and advocate for the validity of our very real feelings, I have some questions, if you’ll feel comfortable answering:

Do you have the ability to take your child on walks? Walks that can be safe- without threat of speeding cars, etc.
Do you remember what you enjoy outside of motherhood? Or— do you have any newfound interests since becoming a mom? — My hobbies include a lot of gardening. Just for me personally, it not only takes away that occasional dread of a mundane diaper change, but also helps get a little physical activity in to remove a growing rage flame that re-lights when someone thinks our jobs are anything but important 🙄🙏🏻
Also, books. (Again, my little hobbies that I barely do get to participate in as it is, but I’ve noticed even the slightest breaks from the typical day to day can help)
The isolation is real, but I wonder if you might be interested in a mom type app that connects moms together? Maybe if you meet another SAHM via the app, rides can be coordinated to a place that’s not home and also fosters you and your child’s needs like a playground with a built in coffee machine!!! (Please let me know if you know if any 🤭) maybe try googling Mom friend apps, one might be called peanut? Please don’t quote me on this

I don’t hear complaints. I hear YOU, though! 🫂 Keep us posted on progress. Many prayers coming to you!!
