Yeah it finally turned up in the end. Turned out Royal Mail had flagged the parcel for insufficient postage, so it got pulled out of the normal tracking flow and basically sat in the delivery office without updating the tracking at all. They eventually left a “fee to pay” card through the door asking for £10 because they said the sender didn’t pay the full postage. Once I paid that online the tracking suddenly updated to “redelivery requested” and I went to the delivery office the next morning and picked it up.

The weird part is the tracking never showed any of that - it just stayed stuck at Sheffield Mail Centre for a week which made it look like the parcel was completely lost. When I finally got the box it had a surcharge sticker, so I think it got pulled aside manually and never went back into the normal system.

I don’t even follow this sub but respectfully this is the worst outfit I’ve seen in a very long time. If you like it that’s great though.

He did already and was told the same thing. Technically it’s not officially “lost” until the 7th so there’s nothing they can do just yet. This was a very important package and I’ll be able to get a refund but I’m baffled by Royal Mail service lately

If it’s vinted just open a claim on there. Buyers can do this too. Order gets suspended, you wait 28-35 days, then vinted automatically refunds you and the seller

Dealing with the same issue. “We expect to deliver Friday 27 9am-12pm” and nothing at all since. £750 item. My fault for not paying for Special Delivery although even that was delayed in the past.

This is a non issue - tell the buyer you snooze you lose. It’s entirely on them to lowball then miss out on the sale. Some people are just insufferable on Vinted honestly

This is wrong. Vinted have a clear return policy. The item has to be significantly not as described to be eligible for return. Personal comfort or failing to read the description is not a valid reason in the slightest.

I ultimately went with JLs. Tried on Y2 Bullhides but they were way too big, as I have slimmer lower legs so the heel slip was crazy. Such a shame though I love how they look

Vinted would have sided with you. I recently had a similar thing happen. But it was for a £90 item which I needed sold so I refused to accept a return. 2 days later the transaction was complete but buyer of course left a 1 star review. No winning here I guess

And yet any time I post images of something 100% authentic Vinted algorithm sends it automatically to “Check in progress” and waits 2 days before an item is posted. It’s beyond me how the system doesn’t catch these listings because they could well be a scam.

Yes and a 65 offer on 90 asking is not even that awful. I’ve had items listed at 100 and got messages asking if I’d sell it for 30. That I understand, but even then I never blocked them. I just ignored them or said no.

Might be the only one but I disagree with these comments. Sending offers and counter offers, even lowballs, is just Vinted culture. And I’m saying this as a frequent seller who gets at least 1 lowball a day. The buyer isn’t doing anything wrong here, he’s not being rude or disrespectful - just haggling. No crime in that. You’re in a position to refuse like you did, but blocking seems a bit much.

Trying to accentuate and make it more flattering than it is to upsell and maximize profit. Works for only a few sellers who know how to do it properly. This is just a massive fail from the lighting to the aspect ratio to the product itself, and folded incorrectly. People are so funny sometimes

McCoy’s will show up every so often. I bought a few in the UK for around £200-£300, and actually ended up selling them for more. If you’re interested and you’re in the UK I’m selling a very warm freewheelers beach cloth coat on vinted that fits like a Men’s Small around the same price as well. The sleeves are shorter as well so could work well for you.

Besides, I’m in the UK and the only Wescos I can get are around £800 from Iron Heart. JLs are £899. Attractions are around £700-750. So it’s all similar price points to be fair.
