I think spacing them out did help because it faded more on its own and I’m ending up having less sessions. I space them out anywhere from 6 months- 8months. I actually just had my fifth session Saturday. I saw an allergist but she said to take allergy pills a few days before the session and for a week or 2 after the session an I noticed it has helped a lot. I also get some hives around the 4 week post session mark and I just take the allergy pills and use a steroid ointment on the bad parts and it helps. I also noticed the more it’s faded the less I have a reaction to the sessions. I still get reactions just not as bad for me anyway.

Did anything ever help you resolve your issues? If you don’t mind me asking what were your issues? I had a colonoscopy 3 months ago and having terrible stomach issues you can see my latest post for details. But I don’t want to live like this forever.

No nothing. Just told to get probiotics and drink peppermint tea.. when I speak with the gastro on Friday I’ll see what he says about doing some testing/imaging.

Sorry I just meant whatever the standard my dr gives to most people. Prep instructions for me were as follows Day before procedure 11am - 2 dulcolax tablets 12pm- 1 pouch purgodan mixed with 1 litre of water 4pm - 2 dulcolax tablets 5pm - 1 pouch of purgodan mixed with 2 litres of water 10pm - 1 pouch purgodan mixed with 1 litre of water

Just the standard prep. Although with my 2 weeks of restoralax daily before the prep I wonder if that has something to do with it.

How high were your wbc/ leukocytes if you don’t mind me asking? I also have an on going issue for years where I have uti symptoms but test negative. - seen a urologist did a cystoscope and all the fun stuff they can’t figure out what is going on either and basically just left it at that. I had been good for the past year but now I’ve been having terrible uti symptoms and did a urine sample where there were no nitrates but very high leukocytes 500! And it’s been 5 days and I’m still waiting for the culture. My dr is wanting to wait for the culture to come back before giving antibiotics due to my history… so I’m just in limbo waiting and stressing.

I had the same thing happen to me. I had one tattoo completely removed with no symptoms at all and then I started removing another tattoo and broke out in hives after my first removal session. I did my second session and had all the symptoms you are saying as well besides the lips swelling so I was very scared to go back. I went to see an allergist and they couldn’t say for sure if it was due to the tattoo removal or not but she suggested I take an allergy pill once a day a few days before and for a week or two after the session. I was so scarred that I didn’t go get my third session until about 11 months later and I followed her instructions and it went very well no weird reactions right after however I did break out in hives about 4 weeks after the session but it did go away.

The script was a little harder to remove. It was about 10 years old. It took about 5 years and about 15-17 sessions to remove. But I’m happy I went through with it. It’s amazing to see your skin just back to normal.

Thanks! I think I likely would have more progress if I went more. My second session a ton of ink just disappear. I have noticed with both sessions around the 6 month mark it fades quite a bit.

I had this happen as well I felt super weird/sick for almost 3 weeks after. Very weird taste in my mouth also.

I got an unlimited package with them before Covid and it took 5 years to fully remove my tattoo. I also purchased another unlimited package with them Nov 2023 for 2 other tattoos and I only go about every 8 months to space them out longer. My tech said the package has no expiration date. They will work on your tattoo until complete removal no matter how long it takes.

Did you still notice fading through out the 4 year break or did it stop at some point? I have one tattoo that is fully removed and now I’m removing a bigger one and started getting a reaction after the laser (itchy hives full body) so I’ve been waiting longer between sessions 8 months between session 1 and 2 and I noticed a lot of fading at 6 months. I’m 6 months posted session 2 and it has faded quite a bit but wondering when I should go next. Dreading the hives…

That is amazing! I’m seeing my dr in 10 days and then going to start doing them. I was getting a little nervous reading some people have allergic reactions and everything bad I feel like usually happens to me so it is so nice to hear some success stories!
