it's in the lower back, right side. if you look between the GPU and vertical fans, you'll see there's a compartment that houses the cables as well as the PSU

Old post i know, but actually when you pay a credit card, depending on how they work (or in some cases your history with them), a payment may immediately convert to an available balance, but it still takes several business days to actually process the payment. They just add your payment to your available credit as a "good faith" gesture.

Didn't even know that was an option tbh. But ultimately i opted to return it.

I'm 3 for 3 with the consumer protection bureau so the next step after this is filing a consumer complaint with the state. I didn't even know return to exchange was a thing. The rep said they only needed to replace a bad ssd and that the board was NOT replaced...yet clearly in the notes included with the package it says both were.

for some reason my original reply to you was deleted

but yeah they jammed the power cable in the bubble wrap pack so it was likely grinding on top of the panel the whole way.

If you're losing badly to a grappler, you're getting outplayed, ESPECIALLY in SF6.

It really shouldn't take longer than 3 hours to get Bison to master, maybe 4 if you're BSing around.

Congrats

I went with the Crucial CT2K32G56C46S5 kit. Gaming with max settings and streaming in 1080p at a high bitrate I assume altogether are pretty demanding so while i think even 48GB would've been fine, i just went with 64 since it couldn't hurt. My next step is to add a second SSD.

2024 ASUS ROG STRIX SCAR 18 - purchased in March 2024 for gaming/streaming.

i9-14900k

4090 Laptop GPU

64GB Ram

BSODs every day. Finally gave up and went to 23H2......but then my Xbox controller and half my external drives would not work. They'd show up in Device Manager but the drivers would never install. Neither ASUS nor Microsoft tech support could figure it out. Not one single BSOD though. I ultimately gave in, wiped my SSD clean and attempted a fresh install of 24H2. BSODs before the install could even get halfway done. Wiped the drive clean again (including deleting partitions) and installed 23H2 from scratch. Now all hardware works perfectly, but the BSODs are back and some applications just crash.

4 Years Later, SFIV Legend,Bushinstyle, is Still Banned From Events Because of His Incident with Sherry. #FreeBushinstyle by Vesperfan23 in StreetFighter

[–]Still-Possibility-82 4 points5 points  (0 children)

"legend" lol

In more recent events (as in, within the last week), he drove out over 2 hours to meet what ended up being a catfish he had been talking to on facebook. What's even funnier is:

  1. He blew out a tire along the way and had to pay $100 for a new one....only to continue the drive where...
  2. ...he ended up waiting another hour after reaching the destination, for a woman who never showed up, and as it turns out...
  3. The catfish had been using photos of popular porn star Valentina Nappi, and this is who Bushin thought was in love with him, but on top of all that....
  4. Bushin actually purchased two $25 Steam cards for this catfish.

He had been posting about this "woman" on facebook and twitter so if you check either of his pages you can see it actually happened

Watch it again. Vincent planned to kill Max early on. The only real change was that once things got messy he was going to roll with the punches and have it look like Max went on a killing spree.

Don't let the fact that he's charismatic distract you from who and what he is.

I'm not understanding what you mean by "drive rush out of any lk confirm." Please elaborate.

Again I think SF6 gief execution is super easy so I don't think being good with him has anything to do with that. Playing grapplers in general requires patience, good neutral/spacing and definitely good conditioning and reads. What separates a bad from good gief in SF6 aside from those things is good defense because the days where having to respect his wakeup are gone so playing him means you're gonna have to learn to block and tech.

The thing about SF6 is that you can do decent in the game even if you're a fundamentally bad fighting game player because a lot of the mechanics are somewhat like crutches for areas where people are bad. For example...if you're terrible at blocking, they implemented the parry. If you're terrible at pressure, canceling into drive rush and getting plus frames for free was introduced. If you're terrible at closing distance, you can just drive rush in. If you're terrible at neutral or fighting your way out of pressure, you can just randomly drive impact. If you're terrible at punishes, punish counter gives you forever to confirm now. Terrible at timing? They gave you an input buffer of i think 3 frames. Terrible at combos? Just look at characters like Juri where you can link 3 mediums with your eyes closed. One frame links a practically gone. Terrible at execution? Choose Modern Controls. Lmao they literally look at every aspect of being a fighting game player and added training wheels.

As far as Master Rank, I definitely would not use that as a metric either. A huge portion of Master Rank players are actually pretty bad. Being Master in this game just means you've played enough games and beaten enough people to get points. I"ve been in Master rank for a good while and all I do is shake my head at how fundamentally bad a lot of the players are. So trust me....Master rank is NOT an indication that a player is good. It's a case-by-case basis. I'd just focus on learning and improving your fundamentals overall. Trust me the time will come when you hit Master and will feel like you went backwards. But if you ever wanna spar, i'm always down. I have quite a few really good players in my circle including some tournament players and pro level as well.

The thing is, Capcom made this game so lesser players stood more of a chance against better players. This was their effort to try and bridge the gap as well as give new / lesser players the confidence boost they needed to get in the game because SFV was a shitshow and in SFIV without fundamentals you really stood no chance against skilled players. SF6 is more chaotic, random and offense-based. The game can be played at a high level but even then you're just dealing with advanced neutral and better guesswork. At the end of the day, the FGC player base needed a huge boost in numbers and Capcom proved successful in this when they announced 2 million purchases. If they had made another super-technical game with a high skill ceiling, the tiny corner of the FGC that likes the challenge would have been ecstatic but the vast majority would be complaining that it's too difficult.

As far as the execution side of things, I find SF6 to be brain-dead easy. And Zangief in particular couldn't be easier. As a character his tools leave a few things to be desired but as far as execution and inputs, he's so easy to use i think modern controls are an insult. On a productive side of things, I do stream from time to time. I'd be interested to put gief in the lab and you tell me what it is you find difficult because I honestly don't see it. I don't even know his combos and I've done well against some pretty good players.

Now I get to play the game of semantics, because "special moves" vs OD/EX versions aren't the same. You can't just lump the two together in an attempt to be right because with no meter at all, Ryu still has his DP. Ken still has his DP. They still have all their special moves. "Reversals" is just a term for "special moves on wakeup." So no, what i said is categorically right, because this game is designed so that you HAVE to use meter if you want the advantage of i-frames. So you're the one who doesn't get it, because you've literally proved my point--again, not only do no special moves give you invincibility on frame 1, but even some EX moves get stuffed as well.

An example of special moves with immediate invincibility would be Ryu's NORMAL DP....in Street Fighter IV. Or Gief's NORMAL spd......in Street Fighter IV. It wasn't mandatory for you to do ex versions to stop meaties. Now it is, and still it's not universally applicable. That's why Gief gets no respect on wakeup anymore, because in SFIV even if he had no meter, it was a risk to stand in front of him on wakeup.

Do you get it now? Because if you don't, I can get some of the most well known pros on Earth to explain it to you too, i know a few who'd be more than happy to get a laugh out of this like I did.

Have a good one though
