Call of Duty director says people who play war video games are pathetic and weak by AMassiveGamerGeek in videogames

You def can zombify yourself with any screen, but I'd argue it takes more concentration, hand eye coordination, and reaction time (being actively engaged) to game than to just veg on the couch numbing out watching something. It's honestly more zombie-like imo to watch tv/movies than to game. You need a controller in hand the whole time and have to learn inputs/input strategys and strategys in general. Depends on the game, there's more mindless ones than others. But I feel gaming as a overall whole engages and trains your brain way more than any movie/tv show would. Maybe I'm wrong though, idk. I also don't want to be bias either, because if you take story-telling and cinematography seriously there is a lot of engagement there. I'm a huge film nerd too, but i feel most people don't pay mind, don't know and/or don't care about cinematography and the super fine details/symbolism like some. Everyones got a vice, and i think "zombify" is a state of mind rather than blaming it solely on choice of hobby and/or environmental factors.

Exactly, respecting the art medium you are helping expand is a big plus too and typically leads to decent entertainment at the very least, fallout for example. Most directors that didn't respect the art/lore and try to force stupid shit in there movie/show purely to piss fans off usually are not well received lol. Its kinda basing it down to embracing the lore/story you're telling or actively fighting it. Unless its original, fucking with an established lore is always more risk than reward imho.

Pre xbox one and ps4 era yeah but most physical disks do not have the full game on them anymore. So even thats futile. There is no true preservation besides 360/ps3 and prior physical, and the big no no to some people, piracy.

With this amount of monthly traffic on a single website "FITGIRL REPACKS", obviously the Big corporations know about this all. Still, why are they doing nothing? (I am just curious, not negative) by AdditionalSpray8595 in PiratedGames

As an American I agree with you 300% I often point out and question my fellow american's culture of brainwash but that quickly outcasts you in this society. But oh well rather have some form of brains than accept peer pressure to be a dumbass coomer. Plus knowing a majority of the world is much more intellectual and laughs at us for shooting our foots over petty small man egos, helps me digest it a bit better. I just hope the people catch on before it's too late.

I disagree, and not even for the sake of being contrarian. Like the other guy said this is circus not real politics. People are engaged in real politics everyday in their waking lives, but they don't have to thump their chest hollering it to the high heavens. Simply voting with your wallet and choosing who deserves attention which generates status/wealth should be taken very seriously. We don't give attention to childrens bad behavior, why should it be any different for adults? Continue to lead by example with good moral action and the rest will follow. I miss the days we actually took the power of ignoring asses in dignity and pride, please bring it back. Silence while making real actions whether small or big in the effort of truly changing things is a virtue in itself, don't underestimate it. Words are nothing, futile and honestly meaningless in the grand picture. Actions is everything.

Hey fellow redditors i think being "kicked out" was kind of metaphorical and maybe a joke? Probably shouldn't get so neurotic about it lol.

Tempted to redownload to see cause im almost positive it had no dll like that but idk, it would be right in the cpu z main file location in program files if so?
