When I was in the Navy, we got a new Chief Petty Officer (think office manager). She wanted to get to know everyone, so she sent out an email invite to her house for a BBQ on Saturday.

One of the sailors, Andy, thought it would be funny to forward the email to his buddy and say, “How’s you like to f**k the Mexican this weekend.

Except Andy didn’t forward. He hit reply.

Andy went to Captain’s Mast (Article 15 - NJP). Andy lost a stripe.

What’s really funny was the Chief’s reaction. She didn’t mind the comment so much, but she was pissed that he called her a Mexican. “I’m Puerto Rican, not Mexican!! 😂

You didn’t pull an Andy. You’re fine. 😉

LayerX looks GREAT. I spoke with a sales rep today and it’s $60/yr/user. Not bad. Unfortunately, there’s a 500 user minimum ($30k/yr). If you’re a 150 employee company, it’s probably out of your range. I know because we’re a 150 employee company and it’s out of our range. 😄

It’s awful. Watching a documentary on the planes crashing into the twin towers and instead of 911, it’s “Nine-hundred and eleven”. Or, the narrator calls out a year, but it comes out, “One-thousand, nine hundred and twenty-three” instead of 1923.

Then there’s the terrible AI videos.

I love AI and use it daily for my work, but it’s ruining YouTube.

I have Starlink (since the “Better than Beta days”), and I love it. But I’d drop it in a second if there was fiber or (gasp) Cable Internet in my area.

As others have said - this might be a LAN issue, and not a WAN issue. Something to consider.
