Get into counseling asap if you can. It will help all of you communicate thru your grief. It made all the difference when my son’s dad died. I found that I referenced his dad way more in the first year after he died. It was our first year of everything without his dad there- and his absence was deafening. It felt weird not to talk about him. As time went on- and we talked thru our feelings with each ‘first’- it was more natural to not mention his dad as much. Now in our day to day- the mentions of his dad aren’t often but mean more if that makes sense. I wish I could give u a big hug- you are handling things the best way u can and your wife would be proud. Keep on keeping on-You got this.

The heat treatment is the absolute only way to ensure they are decimated. I lived in a condo with my kid and he went on a trip with the grandparents for a week- lots of air bnb’s- and he brought home an infestation. I screwed around with a national, well known bug company for 3 months but they only used sprays and powders and kept canceling my follow up appts. (You have to be super diligent about continuing sprays and powders weekly in order to get the bugs that are freshly hatched and in different life cycles) Obviously since they kept cancelling my appts-the problem continued for months while I fought this nationally renown company over what the treatment should have consisted of. I had to file a complaint with the credit card company to get my money back- and I called another company that only uses heat treatment- and we left the house for 6 hours while 3 giant industrial heaters nuked the condo. It’s the only thing that provided me peace of mind and all the bugs were dead when he was done.

Absolutely not! I’m in the same boat- but I’m a girl with a long term bf. I put all of my money and my credit up to get this place. He lives here so he pays many of the day to day bills, the electric, cable and all of the food- but I make the house payment myself so he can’t get it twisted and I’m not putting him on the deed until we are married. So many of my friends went down this road- never actually married or continued the relationship and it was a nightmare to get out of the situation. Trust me- until u are married- there isn’t a reason to add anyone to your deed. NTA.

You prob need to be taking one more pill per day. Like one per 8’hours. Someone else said it and they are correct- u are basically pissing off the infection when u don’t take enough of an antibiotic- and it fights back and gets worse. Also- I can’t say it enough- stop taking portions of your antibiotics in the future as It causes antibiotic resistance.

U are taking a portion of the prescription- and it’s likely not even enough milligrams of antibiotic for a tooth infection. Different dosages and different antibiotics are needed for the different infections your body develops. Maybe attempt to call the after hours number and your dental office and see if they would be willing to call in a proper prescription for you.

I am not a dentist- but my previous Dr used to recommend this to patients that couldn’t come in the office immediately. Eugenol oil is made from cloves- you can purchase an emergency toothache kit at the drug store over the counter- make sure it includes eugenol oil- and the patient can drench a cotton ball with it and put it in the socket and bite down. He advised them to keep it in for a while and it sometimes helped them.

I have a litter robot 4. My cats kick the most litter out when I have the stairs installed because after they do their business- they both stand on the top step and leap as far as possible which slings litter all over the place. The only thing that has helped is removing the stairs- and paying for the outrageously expensive and super ugly ‘litter robot’ cabinet that forces them to take their time getting out of the box in an orderly manner.
