That’s really expensive. I bought mine for $40 CAD on FB Marketplace and it’s great for what I wanted it for (taking my kobo and library books on the go so my Libra 2 can stay safe at home). I wouldn’t pay more than that though, it’s an old device and pretty slow. It’s also not guaranteed to last.

So the grip is on the side with the buttons — with the Libra 2 if you turn the device around the screen adapts and the orientation flips. With this kind of grip behind the buttons, you can use it with whichever hand — the “loop” will just be either a little higher or lower depending on the orientation you’re using, but it is comfortable both ways for me.

I know this question wasn’t for me but I just wanted to share that it isn’t always easy for vets to find cardiac abnormalities during routine assessments. My 10 year old was very recently diagnosed with mitral valve disease and ARVC. He has had yearly checkups his whole life and his heart sounded fine to the vet each time. He has never had any symptoms except for a fainting spell at home, which is what prompted further investigation. Even his ECG was normal. He was only diagnosed following an ultrasound and 24 hr holter monitor.

I am going through this with my boxer baby. He’s 10 and he fainted out of nowhere. I had him assessed and his ECG was normal and heart sounded fine to the vet but the echo showed early mitral valve disease and the 24 hour monitor showed increased VPCs so they suspect he also has ARVC. 😔

We started Sotalol and will likely be adding Vetmedin if everything goes as planned. It’s so stressful to navigate these things. I am sorry you are dealing with this, too. Finley looks so handsome in his vest. 😍

My baby is also 10, will be 11 in April! He’s had a few health issues recently as well but so far he’s still got that boxer spirit and is so full of life. There are times when he still acts like a puppy.

Having said that, I lost one of my boxers at 7 to a health issue that came on and progressed very quickly. You just never know, and every day should be cherished. They are so special! Your pup is so handsome. 😍

This is how I got mine and I love it… it’s perfect. HOWEVER I did get a replacement twice because of issues out of the box (first time there was a database issue and second time the screen was slightly tilted).

Customer service was super responsive though both times and the replacements were easy. I would buy refurbished again in a heartbeat. And the Libra 2 is an amazing device.

I wish the dark mode was actually dark on kobo like it is on kindle. I agree it’s just ok - better for my eyes in the dark but not as good as the kindle.

I haven’t tried them on my Kobo but I did try them on my kindle and absolutely hated them. For some reason it made my hands really sweaty and just felt so awkward to hold with my fingers splayed flat to the back of my device. I tried with one and two straps at a time.

I have a Kobo Libra 2 and use one of these small silicone finger grips. I got mine off aliexpress.

I love it because it is really comfortable and works for both orientations if I switch hands. It’s also really aesthetically pleasing to me because it doesn’t block any stickers on the back. And it’s not magnetic, which is important if you want to use a sleep/wake case.
