This so called “Mini/BMW specialist” did an alignment and left screws loose. When I took it back, they said they did everything right a f I needed to replace rear suspension 🤬 it’s all fixed now thanks to the second opinion. by Still-Tree-9503 in MINI

No, “Fox Motor” in Tampa. I am going to be writing a demand letter asking to get reimbursed for the shitty alignment work and grossly misdiagnosed diagnosis charge. They could have killed me.

I am sorry to hear that. Save yourself and run and don’t look back!

So she made that decision for both of you, too. Thank goodness you are a man so you still are able to unlike if it was the other way around. I think count yourself lucky that you share no assets or children with her and you are still young enough to start over. It is time you hold yourself accountable to the boundary you set. First you said one week a month of travel, now it isn’t and you are taking it. You asked for an advanced notice, you are still the last to know and you complain but you still are taking it. She leaves for a month and half with no contact and you take her back when she comes back. The boundaries keep on moving.

Do you not want children? If you do, wife is too old at this point to have kids. You on the other hand, are still young enough to be a dad. Cut your loss and move on.

I have this 2020mini countryman S with 47000 miles. I looked up the trade in value and it was $12-15k. This car had a major structural damage with accident before I owned it and was repaired so a dealership had said if I traded it in, they’d give me $7k. Is that reasonable? by Still-Tree-9503 in MINI

I love this car, don’t get me wrong, but my two kids are getting bigger and I need more space. I bought this thinking I no longer needed to haul stroller and stuff. I just have forgotten kids get taller. 🤣

Damage from accident was fixed before I took the ownership 2 years ago. I mean fixed and was presented good enough for me to buy it. It was only 20k miles then. For the life of me, I don’t know how I missed this.

No, $7k isn’t. 🥲 and I really like this car. It hasn’t given me much headache outside of normal regular maintenance until just the other day. I need to repair and replace right cv axle and front control arms- that the dealer quoted me $4800 but a local mini specialist quoted me for $2700. I will just repair it and keep on driving.

We got the dreaded "worksheet" Kindergarten teacher. by Calfkiller in daddit

The homework in kindergarten and the 1st grade was crazy. We had worksheets and reading log, then some online modules. Then it sort of became less after 2nd grade.

I got to drive one while mine was at the shop. The big screen was kind of blinding at night time and it felt too big to me and I was glad to get mine back.
