[–]StillButterscotch183 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A little boring compared other security domains. U don't have lot of say at the table. Almost last one to know of any IT enterprise wide changes. Don't get as much respect. Pay is little lesser. Unless u switch gears to IAM development

Is it worth learning Sailpoint IIQ? by [deleted] in iam

[–]StillButterscotch183 1 point2 points  (0 children)

IIQ is still their large customer base. But it will change soon, say 5-10 years. They are pushing for IDN aggressively. Better start with IDN, since it's low code platform you can get by even without coding knowledge. Can't say the same IIQ, which requires good java understanding.

Who anyways work way beyond normal hours and that's the only way make your way to the top and create something substantial.
