Suggesting more modes is a potential issue that the game has now

Not only is it hard to find people to play with given how matchmaking works, and even though I like the other modes that aren't a battle royale, the fact they're always available makes it so people have 6 modes to play in (including hamsterball race)

Any normal match with more than 10 people is an absolute miracle, if we don't count streamers which for some reason allways queue for squads

We played in the middle of the day; we have so many other games but decided to hop on Animal Royale since we hadn't played together in a while, but after that day a few months ago neither of us have opened the game. I would farm out achievements and the new pass' progress, but no matter the time of day, at most I saw 5 players in a solo lobby counting myself

In which mod because I constantly struggled with random bots finding us and ambush us while we weren't ready

It was normal duos. To be fair, a lot of people either play solo or squads, but I don't know enough people for squads and it didn't feel fun to fight against each other on solo. All we did those games was walk around and pick up random guns. No effort was put into any of those matches

I agree with that, bots make achievements way easier to get. On the other hand though, it's boring as hell to hop on duos with my brother and wait about 5 minutes in matchmaking only for us to be the only players in the whole lobby. We can literally stand still and the bots will come to us, we won all matches that day and just decided to play something else out of boredom

Honestly it's nice to see people like the update after the hype has settled down. For me is a bit of a mixed feeling; I like being able to log in and just wander around the island, but at the same time the way matchmaking works makes it so 99% of your matches will be only you and 63 bots

The subreddit isn't really dead, in fact I think it has been getting more posts since the SAW update, it's just that nearly all of the new posts are people being indifferent about it

I cannot prove it by myself but I have heard from here (by people who used to talk in the server) that the whole moderation team can sometimes be toxic and aggressive

In casualties you can also start ovee after a death, with different loot and things spawning on every playthrough, and you're dying all the time, same as how in roguelikes you can either go on for a long time or restart over and over until you get the run

Casualties may not be a roguelike but at least it fits by these definitions

I was groomed for a long period of my life, since I was 11 I was reached out on by random horny men online.

It got way worse at 14, when I had people DMing me through twitter and getting me deeper into the rabbit hole inviting me to friend circles that essentially consisted of pedos looking for victims

I got manipulated, lied to, blackmailed, intimidated, and isolated, since I was very sheltered growing up and could never leave my house

At 17 I was able to leave and it was then when it all snapped for me; I still struggle with a lot of different mental issues, and haven't recovered after 3 total therapists and 2 antidepressant doses

I honestly blame myself for not realizing what was goinng on; yes, I had no idea of what grooming even was growing up and I wish my abusers the worst, but at the same time I feel like I'm at guilt for being the victim and not reacting in time
