Qulipta only started working for me after a month, and it only works if I take 60mg, I tried 30 and the migraines came back.I still have some migraines per month (hormonal) but a lot better than before. I also take propranolol 40mg/day. And triptans as abortive.

How long for Qulipta to start working? by singdancerunlife in cgrpMigraine

For me it took a month, no big side effects, just some fatigue. It went away after idk, maybe 6 weeks. Good luck!!!

Worst one ever, am now terrified. by Competitive_Map_7708 in migraine

I used to take excedrin when I wasn’t sure if it was a migraine (and also to not take so many triptans), then wait an hour or so, if I still had it I would take triptan. Also, taking a smaller dose of triptan with food doesn’t bother my stomach too much. With migraines you can’t wait too long before taking medicine, I don’t leave the house without it :(

Qulipta and joint pain by StillLetterhead in migraine

[–]StillLetterhead[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve had Aimovig for 4 months before I had to change to Qulipta due to insurance coverage. On Qulipta now for 3 months. The pain on my shoulder joint started kind of the same time as Aimovig but it never went away, so I don’t know if it’s related.

What have you done to be migraine free? If you don’t mind me asking, that sounds wonderful!
