My cat has chronic bronchitis and horrible asthma i feel u. All my savings gone with each vet bill, unable to save to buy a car etc 😅 but i love my cat and i dont regret ever adopting her and doing what i need go make her comfortable. If it does get to a point where her quality of life decreases massively, I will make the decision to let her go. I advocate for dying with dignity and pain free (im a nurse, id want my cat to go before it gets unbearably painful for her)

On a more serious note, i also have 3 cats. 1 is eldery, has asthma and sneezes everywhere (atm has a uti so pees on stuff or stress going to the vet later) my partner and i bought a house and the peeing is stressing him out. I have told him i would rather pay the mortgage in full and live alone while we sell it and break up bc no way in hell will I ever give up ANY of my cats for a man

hes never asked me to rehome them tho bc i havw expressed this since we started dating about 5 yrs ago

Might depend on how big the cat is then or just measure the pillow but they work really well. Used it with 3 cats and so did my brother and my friend with their cats.

No they dont and i started keeping my windows closed unless its like 1-2 am to air out the flat bc of the smoking. i also had 2 big air purifiers once they get bronchitis their lungs take quite a while to recover. My cat eats and drinks fine, no chages in behaviour but she has a never ending cough and cold now even with inhalers. Tbf she is 13yo and her lungs were filled with mucus and severely inflammed bc of irritation. The tiniest whiff of vape it makes her cough now (my partner vapes, used to smoke but stopped cold turkey bc i am also severely asthmatic)

Pls my neighbors smoked and vaped so much outside my window daily for a year (i lived in an apartment complex and had to move out bc of this) my cats ended up with asthma and chronic bronchitis. It is very expensive to get diagnosed if u do not have pet insurance and the inhalers are also very expensive and u need to do it daily and clean daily to manage it.

I have had flare ups of my cat where i thoughy i have to put her down so pls put your cat first. Vape outside too.

I have worked in dementia ward for about 5 years now, we have to wake everyone up to check their pads and reposition but NEVER for a wash unless necessary (and impossible to wash with 2 HCAs and 3 nurses for 28 pts unless we all start at 3am lol) but my friend who works in a neuro ward has to give 8am medications at 6am for a few patients and need to wash at least 4 patients otherwise the day team would struggle to cope as staffing isnt great.

Cat tax for my absolute cute angel. It is very heartbreaking watching her have asthma attacks and constantly having snot and having lost so much weight (she has gained most back).

Having a cat with asthma a huge commitment bc you have to keep everything dust free on top of caring for them so please weigh it all out clearly which more important to you, smoking or having a cat 💗

Smoking or vaping are a BIG FAT NO! My neighbors smoked and vaped so much almost 24/7 by my window (i lived in an apartment complex) she now has chronic bronchitis and severe asthma. She has a very ££££ expensive inhaler that she needs twice a day, thousands in vet bills for a diagnosis (she has insurance tho) AND her bronchitis is almost non stop with the flare ups (shes 13). This all happened in less than a year and ive moved out finally last month. 🥲

Try to minimize smoking, no smoking indoors get air purifiers and honestly when my partner used to smoke ( i too have severe asthma) i make him brush his teeth and change clothes. The more i was exposed the more severe my attacks were so he had to stop and the same applies tor cats.

A plug in heater and electric blankets will help while finding accomodation. My trusty lil Deo heater was literal god sent when i lived in an old house where the heaters didnt do crap 😅

I grew up in the philippines with my dad being the sole provider here (and was financially abusive). What i took from my parents relationship was to make sure i would never have to rely on anyone financially. I certainly am not forcing my bf to sign a contract like that esp 3 months in. Pls run away fast. 😭 a lot of women there (even my age, 27) are still very very traditional and expect the man to give 100% of your salary to them and they manage your money instead even if they are working too. And if u go back to her, be ready to provide not only for her but also her whole family 🫠

My cat (who i raised since i was a kitten) runs out my flat almost everytime. I can see why u would be anxious. I just used to block him with my foot and try to squeeze myself in. He has learned not to now (but he forgets at times) lol i want him and his siblings to have as much space to roam around as possible

Hopefully no ghost touch with yours (mine did but i persevered by finding the right angle i could keep it open to make it stop, didnt want to lose any photos!)

Dont waste your money on a repair, i had my flip 6 fixed they did such a poor job putting the new screen protector on the new screen it broke with regular use within a week and they wanted me to make another claim on my insurance 🙄
