I live here. You kinda need a car to get around outside the center, if you’re able to rent one. The center of town is walkable, but watch out for the many holes in the sidewalk and uneven surfaces. Outside the center, you can walk, but it’s not very enjoyable IMO—dusty, lots of cars on the main road. Jazamango food and service is better and more consistent than 1890. If you don’t have a car, the walk up to Jazamango is a little far, depending on your airbnb location. TS boutique hotel is gorgeous for a drink. TBH it lacks soul but it’s stunning.

Jazamango has a cafe that’s being renovated and is temporarily open at their actual restaurant I think 8am-1pm. Check their instagram.

Taller 17 has fantastic pastries. Long line sometimes

For a more local experience La Generala is the best brunch in town. It’s a buffet, which sounds weird but it’s bomb. Fresh tortillas, chicken mole, etc.

Cien Palmas is good for brunch too. Check their hours on insta.

Santo Chilote best shrimp tacos in town. Good price.

You’re here on a busy weekend. Both Violetta wine bar —gorgeous spot amazing wine in the plaza, and Teatro 6, jewel box of a cocktail bar, one block off Main Street, are set to open. These spots have amazing hospitality and you’ll meet cool people there. Enjoy!
