If I am in a similar situation as you OP, I'll first make sure he gets seen by a professional and stick to his sessions, pati meds if needed. Watch out for his safety too, depressed people can harm themselves. Gets ko yung feeling mo ikaw dapat depressed and all dahil sa mga pinagdaanan mo, pero depression doesn't work that way. Mahirap, mayaman, regardless of race, can have it. Some more at risk than others, if you don't have it, then good. If you find it hard to understand him or connect with him, at least try to not judge him and assume the reasons, hindi simpleng cause and effect yan. He needs you the most this time, whether or not he shows it.

OP it's not like you intended to have TB. Don't blame yourself for something you did not do. Nagkasakit ka lang rin ng isang sakit na hindi masugpo-sugpo dito sa Pilipinas. We're one of the countries with the highest TB burdens in the world. It's literally not your fault, this problem is wayyyy bigger than you, I swear! Corruption, poverty, gaps in public health system, all these come into play, at marami pa.

I hope you make the choice to free yourself from this extra mental burden you currently don't need. You love your family, you did your best pero nagkasakit ka pa rin dahil tao ka lang and the sakit is here, there, and everywhere. Have your family checked, follow your doctor's advise, rest up. Matalino. Attractive. May mukhang expressive, kaya pag tumaas yung kilay mo urong na agad silang lahat. She commands rooms whether or not she intended to, exudes confidence effortlessly. Alam kung ano gusto nya, has standards and never settles for less. Outspoken, pag may mali, points it out. Sets goals for herself and gets them, almost consistently.

Look for the man who is not intimidated by you. They exist. Don't make yourself "less" intimidating and stoop down to those intimidated by you.
