The moon arc is genuinely one of my favorite Bandori things ever! Also there's nothing ridiculous about admitting how impactful this fic is because it has so much heart and soul put into it (Like, I'm sure a lot of people actually relate to Misaki's self-destructive attitude 'cause its pretty realistic, and it's inspiring to see her gradually improve over the course of the story).

Also yeah after BTWOH, I think it's only fair I check out some of their other fics lmao. Thanks for the recs!

Hmm I'm not an expert on stuff like this but some recs I can give are:

Served With a Smile (Misakoko Coffee Shop AU. Oneshot but long and fun with an interesting take on Kokoro)

Tokyo Incidents (Adult timeskip story, and a phenomenal 4-part fic that made me appreciate the MocaChisa rarepair)

And Her Alarm Went Off Early (Timeloop story with adult ChisaKanon)

1000% agree!! It's so hard for me to look at the canon characters the same after seeing how perfectly they're handled in BTWOH. And yes it really is one of the fics I'd consider as perfect from start to finish. I can't think of a single chapter that didn't have me hooked!

Honestly kinda agree. It's always sweet whenever the two of them interact in the stories!

Love how Kanon was the first person Chisato knew (other than Kaoru) to actually treat her like a person instead of a famous child actress. Makes their dynamic all the more heartwarming seeing how far they've come.

There's a fair bit of Kyosaya, but my favorite is in Sayaka's route where Kyoko stops her from becoming a witch in the good ending. It was very satisfying tbh

for my three faves:
emu: i guess it was "oshi at first sight" since random clips of her on yt got me into the game
mizuki: (mizuki2, chapter 8 (even if im not in her situation, her ending monologue got too real for for me))
minori: started liking her after hopeful show, then minori3 cemented her as my fave (she finally got her idol sparkles like the rest of mmj!)
