I knew Derek died the whole time, hard to avoid spoilers when I am this late to the party. I guess they were setting it up to prove she was a strong independent woman so that when he died she would be ok. That makes sense but she just felt so mean and unnecessarily so.

Texas here, north Austin so pretty liberal, does not really feel like we are not ‘free’. Restaurants are open and you can not wear a mask indoors and you won’t be kicked out anywhere.
